As a former prosecutor who worked in all ares of the State's Attorneys Office for 13 years, I have a very rounded knowledge of the criminal justice system. I've worked with thousands of police officers over the course of my career, and feel that I know what they look for when they investigate and arrest defendants. The best way to know how to win a criminal case is to know what the State needs to prove in order to win the case. I prosecuted every type of case, from traffic tickets to first degree murder. That is excactly why I am skilled at defending all types of criminal cases.
Practice areas
Throughout the last 16 years, I have handled cases ranging from simple traffic tickets to misdemeanors like DUI and thefts to felonies like drug possession/delivery to first degree murder. There is simply no substitute for the extensive experience of a long-time prosecutor who also has years of work defending cases.
Juvenile court is where we have a unique chance to really make a difference in a young person's life. It is a great opportunity to turn them away from a pattern of trouble and get them back on the right track to maturity and success. It is perhaps the most rewarding area of law.
Most minor accidents can be resolved without the need for expensive and time-wasting litigation. Our office has settled many cases like these quickly so our clients get their settlement funds sooner than later.
