Robert M. Mihelich: Your Trusted Defamation Expert and Advocate for the Working Person

I was represented by Robert M. Mihelich in a defamation case, and I can confidently say he's a true professional attorney who genuinely stands up for the working man or woman. In a world where legal representation can feel distant and elitist, Robert brings a down-to-earth approach that makes you fee...l supported every step of the way. What truly sets him apart are his exceptional analytical skills, deeply grounded in legal precedent. He doesn't just skim the surface—he dives into the details with precision and insight that turned the tide in my case. Particularly versed in defamation and libel law, Robert's expertise in these areas was invaluable; he navigated the complexities with ease, ensuring every argument was backed by solid, irrefutable evidence. As the saying goes, the only good lawyer is the one you need—and Robert proved to be exactly that. He's second to none in his dedication, responsiveness, and ability to deliver results. If you're facing any legal hurdles, do yourself a favor and add Robert to your address book. You won't regret it! Highly recommended.

Amazing with FMLA Violations

Almost 5 years ago, I went on FMLA and took a short medical leave from my job. My doctor told me that my job was protected and not to worry about missing work. To my surprise, when I returned to work, my employer abruptly changed my job duties and acted mad I had been gone. This was too much and I... was an emotional mess. I tried fighting to get my job back to no avail. My sister suggested I call a lawyer. I called the only lawyer I knew in Wisconsin. I begged her for help and she gave me 2 lawyer's names her law firm referred individuals to for employment disputes. Both lawyers I called were awful! They wouldn't listen to my story for more than 5 minutes without cutting me off to say they would charge me to come in and meet with them. That's when I turned to Google and found Attorney Mihelich. I spoke with his secretary first (intake) and then received a call back that same week from Attorney Michelich. He gave me free advice for a meeting with HR and my boss. He also told me he hoped I didn't have to hire him. At the HR/boss meeting, company management ganged up on me and told me I was not a "team player" for complaining. I circled back to Attorney Michelich and within two weeks, my boss got fired, the HR manager resigned and I got a speedy confidential resolution to my problem without having to go to court. I was so impressed that as I moved onto other jobs, I refused to accept unfair treatment knowing that the Employer does not always win. If you're a Wisconsin employee with a dispute, let Attorney Mihelich take it on. You will most likely have to pay by the hour, but it's worth it for peace of mind from the idiots who run some of these companies.

Never followed through

I contacted this lawyer by phone and spoke with him regarding an issue we were having. He told me to call him back the following week as he would be going out of town. I called him back the following week to set up the appointment and got the information that he told me to get. He has never returned... my phone call. We have called his office several times, left messages with his secretary and also left messages on voicemail. This has been 3 weeks with no response. He should not have told us the items to obtain, also that he would help us and the cost for what he would do for us. Then he told us when to call back. We called back as he had asked and like I said no response whatsoever. I even called one last time and the person who answered the phone I assume his secretary I asked her to please at least call us back and let us know if the lawyer would not be able to help us still no response.

This is likely an accurate and fair complaint. Due to the time demands of litigation which can sometimes be abrupt and unexpected, my focus and priority is always on existing clients. I request potential clients to gather important records so that I can provide them with an informed opinion. This is intended to assist the potential client. I encourage this caller to contact me again so that I can address their concerns.

Excellent, realistic advice

Bob reviewed the facts of the case and provided advice on what could be expected. He counselled for realistic expectations rather than maximizing his income.

Wrongful Termination

I hired Bob as my attorney after working with him prior on what turned out to be a wrongful termination claim against my employer. One of the main reasons I decided to hire Bob (besides his reputation for being good at what he does), is that he treated me with respect and understanding. Bob is a down... to earth person who really cares for his client. He is not just about the money as I found with a few other attorneys I had met with prior. I as terminated after over two decades of service with no real reason or a severance package. Bob worked diligently with me from the start, sharing realistic expectations and options along the way. In the end, I walked away satisfied and with peace of mind. Bob is a great attorney, and one who works closely with you, laying out realistic expectations that help you make the best decision. From the start, he gives great advice and is a bull dog going after what you deserve. I would recommend him to anyone who has an employment case needing legal attention.
