Almost 5 years ago, I went on FMLA and took a short medical leave from my job. My doctor told me that my job was protected and not to worry about missing work. To my surprise, when I returned to work, my employer abruptly changed my job duties and acted mad I had been gone. This was too much and I... was an emotional mess.
