Nicholas Klingensmith

I was advised by a friend (another Lawyer) to contact Nick about my situation. Not only was Nick personable, he never made me feel uncomfortable about my situation. Even as bad as I felt about my poor decision. After our first meeting he made me feel at ease and explained every step of the process an...d how he would be handling the situation. Nick is well educated and up to date in the always changing OVI laws and was able to use a new law that even the Judge was not well versed in. (no disrespect to the Judge, just no one had used this new law/defense in his courtroom) After seeing Nick in the court house, not just the court room. You could see that he is a very well liked and respected Lawyer and person. Since he once was a prosecutor for Hamilton County he has many connections and friendships that have continued even after switching to private practice. I would highly recommend Nick to anyone in my situation because I feel you would get the best representation no matter what your situation may be.

Nick is an outstanding attorney who represented me during my OVI charge. I found Nick online without any prior reference, but I'm very glad I chose him. He is very knowledgeable about Ohio OVI law and he was diligent throughout the whole process. Nick is down-to-earth and didn't make the legal pro...cess overwhelming. He was always available whenever I needed him which made the legal process less stressful. Nick was ultimately able to reduce my original charge to a lesser charge due to his knowledge, relationships, and negotiation skills. Nick helped me through my OVI case. I never though I would get an OVI and was terrified I called other lawyers and they were very unresponsive and had fee structures all over the place. Nick was very understanding, he let me called and see him later in the day so I wasn't missing to much work and hel...ped me work though everything. Nick was very personable I loved him unique socks and his relaxed character. He even talked to me when I had questions about how to get my license back after my case was settled he was definitely there when I needed him and really knew what he was doing. I was really impressed with his knowledge not just of the law but of different court houses and everything else. I also thought it was cool I could pay him online!

Nick was great to work with. He kept me informed every step of the way, but in an easy to understand, everyday person manner. Not all legalese. But when required to, did completely explain the law to me on a need to know basis. He is professional when he must be, but very easygoing and puts you at ea...se when you are working with him. He goes over everything essential for the courtroom and even practices with you to help you feel prepared. He definitely knows his stuff and has a lot of knowledge of the specific workings of the court system, judges, police etc. and puts them to work to help you. He is comforting and reassuring but also lays out the options exactly as he sees them, and gives you his best advice, but also allows you to make your own decisions. He did a great job on my case and got it dismissed. He had predicted this may happen, there again, he knew the case. I would highly recommend Nick to anyone with a criminal case. I felt his fees were extremely fair. I had recent experience with a divorce attorney, which should have been an easier case, and she actually did a terrible job and her fees were exorbitant. So I definitely had a recent comparison. I was extremely happy with his work on my case.

I contacted Mr. Klingensmith from a random internet search for a traffic lawyer in Cincinnati. I spoke with him over the phone a couple times and felt he seem knowledgeable on the traffic law as it pertained to my case of a simple speeding ticket. I have a relatively clean record to start with and ...I was very polite with police Officer who stopped me. So I think that helped to get my ticket pled down from a moving violation. That plea was my primary concern. The fines were not the issue. I need to keep a clean driving record for my career path. But I couldn't be happier with the outcome and the service Mr. Klingensmith provided. He took care of everything for me. Being from out of town. I didn't have time to come back on my own, and I didn't just want to role over and pay this ticket by mail. All I had to do was contact him, pay my lawyer fees, and mail a check to the Hamilton Co. courts when it was over. He kept me informed through out the whole process.
