Nicholas Klingensmith

I received a OVI violation in Cincinnati like a moron while visiting from Pittsburgh. Nick was excellent in handling all needed processes and procedures on my behalf since I lived so far away, and was extremely informative of the law and said processes. His experience, overall personable personality..., and knowledge of the Cincinnati court system also proved extremely valuable on my day in court as he quite easily negotiated an excellent deal to a lower charge for me, saving me hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars and potential jail time. Highly HIGHLY recommend to anyone in the area in a legal pinch. Nick really made the awful experience not quite so bad.

Nick did a great job, I highly recommend using him for any traffic related offenses. I got a speeding ticket for going 60 mph in a 35 mph zone. I did not want to receive any points on my license nor have my auto insurance go up so I decided to fight the charge. Nick was very honest with me up fron...t, gave me all my options and his opinion based on previous cases. He was optimistic that he might be able to get charges dropped but told me there were no guarantees, worst case he felt he could get the ticket reduced. Ultimately he was able to get the ticket dropped to a 0 point violation, 39 mph in a 35 mph zone. I was very happy with the outcome, I don't have a very clean driving record and couldn't afford to have a major blemish on my record. The court cost and fine came out to be slightly less then what the ticket would have cost and the fee Nick charged for his services was very fair.

Nick was great to work with. He kept me informed every step of the way, but in an easy to understand, everyday person manner. Not all legalese. But when required to, did completely explain the law to me on a need to know basis. He is professional when he must be, but very easygoing and puts you at ea...se when you are working with him. He goes over everything essential for the courtroom and even practices with you to help you feel prepared. He definitely knows his stuff and has a lot of knowledge of the specific workings of the court system, judges, police etc. and puts them to work to help you. He is comforting and reassuring but also lays out the options exactly as he sees them, and gives you his best advice, but also allows you to make your own decisions. He did a great job on my case and got it dismissed. He had predicted this may happen, there again, he knew the case. I would highly recommend Nick to anyone with a criminal case. I felt his fees were extremely fair. I had recent experience with a divorce attorney, which should have been an easier case, and she actually did a terrible job and her fees were exorbitant. So I definitely had a recent comparison. I was extremely happy with his work on my case.

I contacted Mr. Klingensmith from a random internet search for a traffic lawyer in Cincinnati. I spoke with him over the phone a couple times and felt he seem knowledgeable on the traffic law as it pertained to my case of a simple speeding ticket. I have a relatively clean record to start with and ...I was very polite with police Officer who stopped me. So I think that helped to get my ticket pled down from a moving violation. That plea was my primary concern. The fines were not the issue. I need to keep a clean driving record for my career path. But I couldn't be happier with the outcome and the service Mr. Klingensmith provided. He took care of everything for me. Being from out of town. I didn't have time to come back on my own, and I didn't just want to role over and pay this ticket by mail. All I had to do was contact him, pay my lawyer fees, and mail a check to the Hamilton Co. courts when it was over. He kept me informed through out the whole process. I would certainly recommend his services and will call on him again if I ever get into any traffic trouble in Ohio again. Thanks for your excellent work Nick. I could not have asked for anything more.
