Re: DON'T give him any money!
Your response left quite a bit out. The video the police showed me was of me continuing to drive past. It did not show where I had stopped. THAT'S why I wanted you to get the video because the bus driver did not turn the red lights on until I was beside the bus. The reason I was arguing with you is ...

DON'T give him any money!
i found out I was charged for passing a school bus. i was very distraught because I had never been charged with anything before. going by the reviews, I called Mr. Korduba. He convinced me there was something I could do. The only correspondence I got from him was an email saying his office could get...
You and I both know that is simply not true. The police officer showed you the video before he gave you the ticket, and, I personally showed you the video AGAIN at the courthouse on the day of your court trial. We watched it several times together. Despite seeing the video TWICE, you argued with the police officer AND then my office that you "stopped for the bus....when the lights were on." No, you didn't. We also emailed and texted you information about your case before the court trial date, and, I agreed to represent you at trial that day for "no additional fee" despite our signed written contract stating otherwise. I was not "short" with you at court: you simply wanted to continue arguing facts that were not true and avoid taking responsibility for your actions or proceed with a contested trial to court. Nevertheless, I am sorry to hear you feel that I was "useless" and surprised to see your negative review here months later when you "thanked me" for my time and helping you and never mentioned that you were unhappy or wanted your money back. I'm also glad you waited a few months and are no longer angry about the situation. The lesson to be learned? Don't lie to your lawyer about facts of your case. Tell them everything: the good, the bad and the ugly. Be HONEST. Otherwise, your lawyer cannot help you in court and will get "blindsided" with the "real" evidence. Good luck and best wishes. 10/10 would NOT recommend
Absolutely HORRIFIC experience with Andrew Korduba. Extremely unprofessional, condescending, and argumentative with us after he took $10,000. Apparently it’s not okay to ask questions and want to be informed about potential outcomes that you could be facing. I would NEVER recommend him to anyone. No ...
This is a FAKE REVIEW: NOT A CLIENT. This person lied to the police and got her own husband arrested on very serious Felony charges. Her husband hired me to DEFEND the case AGAINST HER; and he is still my client. She came to my office extremely upset and confrontational from the start; wanting to fight and argue with me about how to “get it all dismissed right now.” When I tried to explain the law and legal process to her she became even more enraged and unreasonable. She was warned several times to calm down and eventually removed from my office due to her behavior. I have never had to tell someone to leave my office in 25 years of practice: she is the first ever. I still represent her husband and look forward to cross-examining her on the witness stand at trial. When she behaves the same way it will be an easy “not guilty” for my client. So, if you want a lawyer that will not be bullied or intimated by anyone, anywhere or anytime, please call my office for help. Thank you! Attorney Korduba

I wouldn't accept these services again if they were free.
I've never been treated so poorly by an attorney. I am very disappointed as I thought I paid $1500 for one of the "best" lawyers in Medina. While I ended up getting charged with something I didn't even do. A deal was worked out which was very unfair I simply had no other option.
Sometimes the direct and honest manner in which I advise clients about legal options, fees and consequences of decisions rubs certain individuals the wrong way; and their feelings are hurt. It is never my intention to do so; but sometimes that happens anyway. I work hard to educate clients so they have a clear understanding about the "pros and cons" of their case; as well as the time and money required to "fight the system" when they are "wrongfully charged" with a crime. Apparently, I was able to "work out a deal" that this client accepted but felt was "unfair" but they had other options: fight the case; hire another lawyer; represent themselves in court. I do the best I can to help people every day; and have done so for thousands of clients all over Northeast Ohio for the past 25 years. My apology to this client if s/he was unhappy with the method or delivery of legal services in their case and/or the fees paid for same. I hope and assume the "deal" I negotiated worked out for you in the long run. Good luck and best wishes! Attorney Korduba

Not Prepared
Andrew told me he was the one and only working on my case but when in the courtroom he asked me "what do these markings on the evidence mean? " The markings were done by his staff and he didn't know it meaning he didn't prepare for my case. He also quoted me a price for trial and then asked for more ...
Not true: the client must testify to the court and explain "what the markings on the records mean." I cannot do that for the client in court. Likewise, I am sorry this client was unhappy with legal services provided and/or the outcome of his/her case. This is very unusual as you can see from all of our other satisfied clients over the past 16 years. My office prepares all cases for Trial in advance. We meet with clients regularly in person, by phone and via email. The client likely had an "hourly fee contract" and pre-paid for a one-day trial but the case was not finished in one day. Thus, additional fees were required for trial day #2. The client decided not to proceed with trial day #2 but settle the case instead and is now unhappy with that decision. This result is very unfortunate as we work very hard to please all of our clients and get them the very best results possible. I hope things improve for this client and his/her children in the future. Best wishes.
