Greta estate planning
My wife and met Scott for the first time earlier this year, 2020. Despite closed offices and limited ability to meet face to face, we were able to establish a completer set of plans and trusts. Scott has everything set up to keep these new plans up to date with any changes in the rules and regulations. Despite most of the work being done in virtual settings, we still felt a personal connection with Scott and his staff. I would highly recommend Scott for your estate planning.

Excellent estate planning and trust work
Wow. Awesome. Caring. Compassionate. Responsive. Innovative. Proactive. Involved. These are words that do not begin to describe my experience with the organization and with all I have interacted. Upon the recommendation of trusted financial and legal professionals, my wife embarked on the journey to create a trust encompassing complicated personal and business components, which has turned out to be one of her best moves. Faced with a multitude of complexities, the firm has been able to put my daughter, our business interests, and myself in a comfortable, protected, and secure position upon her passing. Thanks to their efforts, we are all able to proceed and enjoy the fruits of my wife’s innovative and creative spirit.

Scott Allen Williams are my estate planners and have been for eight years. I initially contacted them after the sudden loss of my husband. Within a couple months after our meeting Scott and his team assisted me through the arduous task of planning my estate without having to go through probate court. I’m forever grateful for the support and compassion that I received and still receive today!

Excellent Service
My financial planner referred me to this firm, Scott in particular. The firm has grown immensely because Scott had the insight to see how challenging legal life was becoming. He has hired specialist in different areas of legal matters so everything is in one office. I am extremely pleased to know that my family will know where to turn in my absence. Another item that makes me pleased is updating our living trust bi-annually so no stone is left unturned.

Scott is simply the best!
I've been a client for a few years now and the whole team at William Allen Casey are simply the best in the business when it comes to estate planning -- not only Scott, Jen, and Ray, but all of their support staff is outstanding. They thoroughly educate their clients and help them make informed decisions throughout the initial estate creation and then continue to go above and beyond through additional educational programs throughout the years that follow. Their process is very refined and they make their customers feel very comfortable even while working through some difficult topics -- just very easy to work with. I couldn't be happier with their services! Specifically for Scott, he's so very passionate about his craft and it comes through 100% of the time. He truly cares about his clients and always goes above and beyond to help them out in any way possible. The examples that he gives throughout the planning process and education sessions are real-world and relatable and really give a nice touch to help clients gain an understanding of the topic at hand.

Passionate about Job and Clients
After our first encounter we were sold! Scott and his associates share a passion for their job and it is reflected in everything they do. When we first met, we felt Scott was not the "usual attorney type". There was nothing stuffy or pretentious about him. He explains everything in terms you can easily understand and invites you to call any time you have questions or concerns (with no extra charge for phone calls or the length of the call). He has carefully selected his team members to be sure they share his same values and beliefs. Scott and the entire team are always there to help and constantly looking to see how they can better serve their clients. They are very forward thinking and encourage input from, their clients. The team and clients are like a family. We are so confident in Scott and his team and can rest assured there will be no loose ends when it comes time to wind down the trust. Our heirs know they will have nothing to worry about. All they have to do is call Scott and the firm and they will guide them through every step of the way. We literally trust Scott and his whole team with our lives!!!

Review 2019
Scott Williams and his partners are great lawyers and great people. Can’t say enough good things about. What sets them apart from other trust lawyers is they establish a long term relationship with each client. This is done to ensure trust are fully funded and to educate clients.

Client for 5+ years - absolutely no regrets!
My husband and I hired this law firm 5+ years ago to assist with estate planning. They set up Living Trusts for each of us and their funding specialist worked with us every step of the way to fund our trusts. This firm also provides ongoing education seminars and there are annual client update meetings to ensure that our trusts are up to date. Scott Williams and his partners Rey Casey and Jennifer Allen have always made themselves available whenever we have questions or issues to discuss. It’s also comforting to know that their settlement specialist is there to assist our trustees/heirs at the time of our passing. Their administrative staff also do an excellent job connecting us with the appropriate person when we need assistance, and they also do a fantastic job with the annual updates of our asset reports. This firm is the best one out there, and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Scott....an extended member of our family
We engaged the service of Scott many years ago when our son Ethan was a toddler.....Ethan is now attending the Naval Academy. Over the years, Scott has consistently stayed at the cutting edge of estate planning and our family has greatly benefited. Scott is also a great coach and mentor to new attorneys entering the profession. He has also assembled an incredible staff of knowledgeable and polite professionals. In a nutshell, Scott is an extended member of our family and my most-trusted advisor.

Peace of Mind
Three years ago I lost my husband somewhat unexpectedly. We had made plans to meet with a lawyer, but the end came prior to our meeting. Following the initial aftershock, I determined I needed to have things in order for my children. I tried talking to other lawyers but felt no connection. Then friends suggested I meet with Scott. His compassion and understanding were the first things that drew me in, and upon reading all the material provided, I decided his plan was by and far above so many others with whom I'd spoken. He and his team have expertly steered me through multiple pitfalls and issues and his continuing education/yearly update plan have given me a sense of security. I cannot recommend the Scott A Williams Life Design Program more highly.

Interacting with an incredible mentor like Scott on a daily basis has put me years and years ahead of where I would have been as an attorney had we never met. "I have been known Scott Williams through the National Network of Estate Planning Attorneys since 2006. I have been privileged to have had many hours of education taught by Scott. Scott combines top level technical expertise, mastery of practice systems for running a law office, and a caring and compassionate nature, which is part of why he teaches as much as he does as part of NNEPA. He is a mentor to many including me, and an inspiration to everyone that knows him in the legal profession. I have the highest level of confidence in his capabilities as an estate planning attorney, and also know that he brings caring, compassion and sensitivity to every client he works with."

"Scott has been one of my mentors in learning how to do proper estate planning. I have come to admire Scott as a kind and caring individual who is constantly and intelligently innovating in the estate planning field. "I have known Scott for nearly 20 years through the National Network of Estate Planning Attorneys. I have had the privilege of teaching a number of 3 day Continuing Legal Education workshops with Scott and have always been particularly impressed with both his technical expertise and the caring and compassionate manner in which he counsels his clients. Scott is a lawyer that will take the time to ensure his clients understand how their estate plans work and goes the extra mile of providing a formal estate plan maintenance program that provides ongoing education, counseling and updates to legal documents. He is most committed to creating estate plans that accomplish the goals for which they were put in place. He is both a colleague and friend for whom I give the highest endorsement."

"I have known Scott for more than 20 years, having taught with him and learned from him in continuing education classes for estate planning attorneys in Ohio and throughout the United States. Among many positives, he has created systems that has resulted in what may be the best-run estate law firm I've ever seen. He is smart, ethical and cutting-edge in his knowledge of estate planning and trusts."

"Scott is one of the best estate planning attorneys in the country. He is one of my mentors and I would trust my mom and my family with him for estate planning services if I could. Anyone would be lucky to have him on your side and representing you in the estate planning process."

Relationship: Worked together on matter
"Scott is one of those rare lawyers for whom client service is a mission. I've learned much about caring for clients from him, and aspire to have the degree of respect from my clients that he does from his. So many attorneys who "do estate plans" for people just take a document order, generate standardized forms, charge a fee and send them out the door. Not Scott. Scott first makes sure his clients know what is possible so they can make fully informed decisions about what they "want" to do; then he designs a plan to do that. He helps those clients assure that their assets are re-titled to follow the plan (I've never met an attorneys more passionate about this critical step!) and then goes even further by committing to help the clients keep their plans up to date as their lives change and the laws evolve. It is without reservation that I recommend my friend and colleague Scott Williams to anyone who wants an estate plan that will work!"
Estate planning Attorney | Mar 17
Relationship: Worked together on matter
"I have worked with Scott Williams in the estate planning arena for a number of years. His law firm is truly education-focused. Scott has developed a unique approach to estate planning that makes the complex subject of estate planning easy to understand. He establishes life-long relationships with his clients, his client's helpers, and his client's families. Scott understands that estate plans must be maintained and updated because of changes in the law, the tax system, the family, mobility of family helpers, and Scott's constantly evolving methods for addressing his client's issues. I endorse Scott Williams and the process he has developed to make sure that his client's estate plans work as intended."
