Ivan Petrovic

I was born in Zagreb, Croatia where I spent the first part of my life.  My family moved from Croatia to United States during the late 1990’s, and settled in Northeast Ohio.  I attended Baldwin Wallace University (then called Baldwin Wallace College), where I earned my bachelor’s degree in criminal justice in 2006.  Soon after, I began my decade long career working as a probation officer for the Medina Municipal Court.  While serving as a probation officer, I was exposed to a variety of situations dealing with criminal and civil laws and procedures. 

Even though working as a probation officer has been rewarding, I always knew my true passion was in legal work.  I enrolled into the part time evening program at The University of Akron School of Law, while continuing to work full time at the Medina Municipal Court.  While in law school, I participated in various clinics and programs which sought to provide legal advice and solve various problems for people in the community.  Now, I look to provide my services and knowledge, gained throughout my diverse background, to anyone in need of legal assistance.
