Biography
I work hard for my clients, but I also spend time with my family. I have two toddler boys and a beautiful wife. I attend church regularly and I'm a believer in Christ. These are the reasons I do what I do.
I defend those that can't help themselves and those charged with heinous crimes with passion because that's what God has given me the ability to do. And I fight for the rights of parents during a divorce because I know what's a stake in these matters.
I am an avid Alabama Crimson Tide Fan which is really the only hobby I have time to enjoy. The University of Alabama will always have a special place in my heart because that's where I met my wife, a beautiful sorority girl I fell in love with the moment I saw her. We started beautiful family together and Alabama helped make that happen. Roll Tide!

Replied last July 14, 2017We are sorry you were unhappy with your results. Please feel free to call Mr. Eversole at the office to discuss. Clearly based upon your review Mr. Eversole did not represent you in this matter. At one time we had numerous lawyers working at the firm, and neither of the lawyers you mention are employed by the Firm. However, your review has some logical inconsistencies. You say we would not represent you in Circuit Court after you appealed a Municipal Court case but then you say Mr. Fancher represented you in Circuit Court. That makes no sense. Also, when you stipulate from Municipal Court to Circuit Court you technically plead guilty but the trial in Circuit Court is de novo, meaning that plea means nothing unless you lose at Circuit Court which apparently you did. Again, I sorry you were not satisfied with the Firm's representation, not many people are when they lose criminal cases that involve punishment. However, we are always available to discuss with anyone their dissatisfaction in hopes of making things right. Mr. Eversole no longer has other attorney employees and would be happy to speak with you. We did make a switch and eliminate numerous lawyer employees because Mr. Eversole wanted to be able to intentionally lower the number of clients the firm represents in order to give the best representation possible, and Mr. Eversole now represents every client himself. Replied last July 14, 2017It's very hard to comment on case with anonymous reviews. I have no idea what you are referring to because I do not represent Capital Murder Clients nor have I ever done so. Thus, this is a fake review. Also, I am never "belligerent," towards clients. Maybe other lawyers sometimes......ha. And if any money was paid for a client it all goes to that client's case, that's simply ridiculous.

Replied last July 14, 2017I am sorry you were dissatisfied with our services. I do not know who you are with another anonymous review, and you could even be a competitor. So it's very hard to reply. If you were indeed a client, I would be happy to discuss the matter with you. Please call my office at your convenience. I do dispute your version of our services however. If you were a client you should know that Rule 32 Petitions are the hardest cases to win in the criminal justice system and I have had some great success in that arena but a vast majority of these Petitions are statistically denied. Normally client's have been in jail a long time and are seeking any remedy to get out of jail and they have already exhausted all avenues of appeal. That means they take lots of time to review and prepare to file. I do stand by my work however, and I've never had a judge laugh at me unless I was making a joke. I also stand by my reputation. Lackadaisical... at best
It took him 3 weeks to meet directly with his client. Refused to personally inform his client of court continuance and pending charges. However, it's very difficult to comment on anonymous complaints or reviews because I am not sure who or what this is about. If you are who I think you are, your brother was continually kept updated on his case. His case was in Grand Jury, not much going on during the Grand Jury Process. Also, we had to travel out of t own to court on your brother's case three times, met with him in jail, and filed numerous motions for a very nominal fee because I wanted to help him. Once the case goes to Grand Jury, it starts the Circuit Court Process which is the trial by jury stage. Obviously that was going to cost more money. And if I remember correctly, you and your parents wanted to keep me on the case but could not afford my services in the Circuit Court jury process. I also waived thousands of dollars off your bill for the District Court Process. Again, I am sorry you were not happy with our services. If you'd like to contact me offline I'd be happy to discuss the situation further and try to remedy any dissatisfaction you may have. But I do dispute your rendition of events and I worked very hard for your brother, lots of time was spent on the case as well, as you saw on the meticulous invoice that was provided.
