It is my opinion, based on my first hand experience that Joshua Sheridan with Busciglio Sheridan & Schoeb Pa. is the least experienced lawyer in all of Tampa Bay. It is my opinion that Joshua Sheridan seriously lacks skill, knowledge and experience in the matters of family law, never mind complex mat...ters. It is my opinion that Joshua Sheridan has no understanding , considerations, or concerns for the well being of young children in any family law cases. It is my opinion that any individual considering hiring Joshua Sheridan should seriously consider very hard hiring a lawyer that is more interested in chasing dollars than the delicate matters involving the well being of your children.

The representation I received when I retained Josh Sheridan was less than impressive. He was recommended by a mutual friend with whom he associates professionally. This is the reason my expectation for his services were more than adequate to handle my case. Unfortunately, this is not what was experie...nced. Listed are the various reasons: 1. He was late to every meeting and was unapologetic about it, completely disrespecting me and my time. 2. Phone meetings were minutes long but I was charged for full slotted time. 3. He was less than available to advise me when needed, sometimes for days or a week at a time. 4. His paralegal only relayed information rather than facilitate productive communication surrounding my case. 5. Voiced concerns were disregarded. 6. He was unprepared at my hearing, which he requested. After expressing my dissatisfaction with his services and informing him I would be using different counsel moving forward, he decided to send me an invoice with inflated charges that were fabricated to make me pay more money above and beyond my retainer fee. In summation, he’s not worth the money he charges. I unfortunately learned after the matter that he won a big case and has since been very lazy and uninterested in his subsequent cases. This comes from another attorney, not a lay-person. He may have been great at one time several years ago, but believe the recent negative reviews because this is absolutely the quality of representation you will receive. I would not recommend him to anyone and I can only believe that this will not change until his “winnings” run out. This in itself should be a red flag.

I came into see Josh during my pending divorce. I was about half way through my case and in the middle of a mess. Everything in our divorce just kept going back and forth with every small issue, we weren’t making any progress, and I couldn’t seem to get things moved ahead. I felt so hopeless and d...rained. When I came in for consultation, just the simple straightforward manner in which josh explained how he would handle things, uncluttered my mind and instantly took some of the stress away. He was clear, to the point, logical, and extremely patient with all my questions. He took over my case and I started to see improvement immediately. Communication between attorneys improved, things were handled quickly and efficiently, some resolutions were actually made. We were still not able to settle, so Josh ended up doing a three day trial in my case. Again prepping for trial, Josh was so patient with me, answered all my questions, listened to all my concerns, gave me all my options, yet still give me direction on what he felt was best. Our case was high conflict and there was a lot riding on our trial. The kids being the most important thing. It’s not easy to pick an attorney and ultimately put your kids futures in their hands. I realized as the trial unfolded and I saw what it was actually like and what mattered to the judge, having Josh as my attorney was the best move that I made the whole divorce. While the other attorney was scattered, throwing out a ton of information quickly, repetitive and sticking on petty issues, Josh was extremely composed, well spoken, confident and clear. He presented my case in a way that set me apart from the drama and allowed the judge to hear and see the real issues. Josh was also extremely quick to respond to any allegations and cross examine the witnesses in a way that actually turned it in my favor. I walked away with exactly what I asked for, Josh got me the most important things to me in my divorce. Not only did I get what mattered most, but Josh also communicated and presented our concerns so effectively, the judge was able to address them in his final order, so that we weren’t left with a lot of open gaps to worry about later . Josh is an amazing attorney and he is genuinely a good person and having both of those on my side, during this extremely stressful process made all of the difference.
