When I first met with Jesse I felt that I was in good hands. However, after a couple of months, not so much. I filed Chapter 7 bankruptcy and first received a notice from the court that my fee had not been paid even though I had paid it to Jesse's office in cash. The office manager told me they delayed paying it because they were getting a new credit card for the office and were waiting for it. Then the day before my creditors meeting, I receive an email that my attorney isn't going to be there but another attorney, who did not even work in their office, who I had never met or spoken to before. Then this substitute attorney shows up 1/2 late for my hearing making me wait. Then the trustee seems to not have gotten all of my paperwork that I had dropped off a week ago at the office. This is not how you treat clients if you want them to recommend people to you.

Ms. Hall, I am so sorry you were less than pleased with your bankruptcy experience. When Republic Bank bought out Cornerstone Bank, there was a delay in getting our new card we use exclusively for our bankruptcy IOTA account. I was not aware you were upset about the delay and I would have gladly explained the issue had you brought it to my attention. The bank has apologized to me, and I apologize to you. Also, the attorney covering your 341 hearing was delayed due to weather related to the tropical storm. My home was flooded and I couldn't get out for hours. Again, I apologize for the inconvenience. Your hearing went seamlessly, and there are no lingering issues. The great news is that your bankruptcy was a success! I am so happy that we were able to solve your debt issues for you.
