Charles R. Gallagher III, Esquire is the founder of Gallagher & Associates Law Firm, P.A. Mr. Gallagher graduated from Stetson University of Law in St. Petersburg, Florida. after graduation he began practice with a large tampa firm focusing on insurance litigation. additionally, while at Stetson, Mr. Gallagher served as a Federal Judicial Intern for Chief Judge elizabeth A. Kovachevich of the U.S. Middle District of Florida.
While at stetson, Mr. Gallagher was the Director of the Legal Writing clinic, President of the christian Legal Society, a Teaching Fellow for Legal Research and Writing classes, a Teaching Assistant for Interviewing, Counseling and Negotiation classes, and an honor Court Attorney. Mr. Gallagher was awarded the Calvin Kuenzel Award in 1999 by a vote of the student body for campus leadership. Additionally, Mr. Gallagher was awardes the Judge Stanley Millage Award at graduation for academic excellence by a vote of the faculty.
Prior to attending law school, Mr. Gallagher worked as a paralegal with a large Orlando law firm. In 1995, Mr. Gallagher graduated from Rollins Collage in Winter Park Florida with a degree in Polities. Mr. Gallagher currently sits on the Alumni Associates Board of Directors for Rollins College.
Mr. Gallagher is currently admitted to practice before all courts within Florida as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals 11th Circuit, the U.S. District Court Middle District of Florida, the U.S. District Court Northern District of Florida and the U.S. Tax Court.
Mr. Gallagher is a member of the Florida Bar, the St. Petersburg Bar Associates and the Orange County Bar Association. Additionally, Mr. Gallagher is involved with a variety of pro bono and community service activities including the Community Law Program, Relay for Life, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, and Breast Cancer 3-Day Walk.
Mr. Gallagher has experience in both litigation and transactional matters. His current practice focuses on insurance litigation, accident/injury litigation, and business litigation. Mr. Gallagher has extensive experience in litigatin all types of insurance disputes such as hurricane claims, toxic mold, lead paint, asbestos, theft, fire damage, sinkholes, settlement damages and denied insurance claims.
In addition to his litigation experience, Mr. Gallagher has experience in various transactional matters, including real estate transactions, probate, mortgages/notes, wills, trusts, and formation of corporations.
Finally, Mr. Gallagher has experience with regard to a variety of consumer law matters, such as credit repair, debt relief, deceptive trade practices and traffic court representation.
