I wanted nothing less than the best representation for my son, and after extensive research and based on most positive feedback I decided to hire Mr. Hornsby. I couldn't have chosen a better attorney. Mr. Hornsby is very professional, supportive and knowledgeable. He moved quickly, guided me through the process at its entirety, and achieved the best possible outcome. Mr. Hornsby and his staff were always available to respond promptly to my questions. I am extremely satisfied with his services and highly recommend him to anyone seeking justice in a criminal defense matter.

Richard Hornsby was recently recommended to me to handle a difficult case. I found him to be a highly skilled attorney and a fine gentleman. He proved himself to be patient, accessible, and excellent with challenging negotiations. I am extremely pleased with the results he was able to secure for me and I would strongly recommend him to anyone looking for an attorney.

Tried to discuss details of a case and was asked questions by Mr. Hornsby and was immediately and rudely cut off by him before I had a chance to answer. Neither did he bother to ask me pertinent questions about the circumstances of the case. This was not a consult, but more of an insult. I personally believe that someone fabricated most of these 224 reviews. Look around on this site. No other attorney has near that many reviews. Wouldn't hire him if he was qualified.

Mr. Hornsby was amazing when I was in trouble in December of 2014. Unlike other lawyers we had spoken with, he was very straightforward, informative, and confident. I could tell that he would work his hardest to get the best outcome he could, and that whatever he told me I could trust. He did all that he could for me, and I was very lucky and pleased with the outcome. I would recommend him to anyone requiring a defense attorney.

I hired Richard E. Hornsby because I was told he was the best in handling DUI's. I was lost and expected the worst. However, Mr. Hornsby was quick to take action and communicated every step of the way. He obtained great results with a tough case. I am glad i chose him to represent me and definitely recommend him.

I was charged with "Affray" after being assaulted at my mother's home. I was given Richard Hornsby name by a family member. He promptly called me back to schedule a consultation. After discussing the charge and the evidence I felt confident that Attorney Hornsby would successfully represent me. I was scheduled to appear before the judge on 12/14/16 with a request to have the charge dismissed. Mr. Hornsby notified me on 12/13/16 that the state attorney would not proceed with prosecution and the charge was dismissed. I am so thankful that my case was settled promptly and with a good outcome.

was charged with a felony domestic violence charge, and felt like all was lost. I heard of Mr. Hornsby through several social media sites, and chose him to represent me. I could not have been happier. Every step of the way he advised me of what to do, and Took the bull by the horns in every way until all the charges were dropped. Definitely put my mind at ease the whole time.

Mr. Hornsby told us possible outcomes at the initial meeting. He gave us a best and worst case scenario. He communicated as necessary throughout. He answered any questions we had along the way. His communication was always to the point. Don't be turned off by the fact that he's not warm and fuzzy - that's not what you are paying him for. He got the best scenario results and we are very pleased.

Well, my situation was pretty unique and as all legal situations are, aggravating.
Basically, I was arrested on drug charges, one felony and one misdemeanor in one county. I lived too far from this county to complete the drug court for that county in an attempt to have the charges removed. I had the case transferred to my county, completed the drug court and had the case nolle prosequed in my county. All good. Or so I thought.
It turns out the case in the arresting county never dismissed the case in union and accordance with the county I lived in. Therefore, while I was happy as can be that I had a felony and misdemeanor nolle prosequed in the county I lived in, unbeknownst to me it remained pending in the arresting county. For 3 years. Why this long you ask? Well, I maintained employment and never changed jobs. Not all those arrested are degenerates, crazy enough. So I never had background checks ran in that time. It wasn't until I moved that I found out that this was still indeed pending as 2 open charges.
Now comes Mr. Hornsby. I reached out to him and have never made a better decision. Immediately he laid out the facts and situation better than I would ever expect, because keep in mind. He had no part in my case 3 years ago. Within the first day of services, he had gathered all the needed information and began working on my case immediately. He never lied, exaggerated or ever gave any false hope.
Many months later, and to my discovery, much effort on Mr. Hornsby's part, he was able to get my case looked at again, and was able to get my case completely dismissed. If you want the highest quality lawyer and one who actually knows what he's doing, do not hesitate. Hire Mr. Hornsby.

Mr. Hornsby helped me resolve a misunderstanding with a bar owner and I couldn't be happier to have paid for his services. No bs and straight to the point. He reached out to me the day he would receive new information on my case. I am very happy with his services and will recommend to my friends and family.
