Four years ago, my wife and I solicited The Messersmith Law Firm services, desperate to find not only assistance in our case, but mainly an honest legal counsel who would at least truly give some consideration to the situation we were experiencing. A Nigerian Professor that doubled as my mentor during graduate school recommended Mr. Messersmith, Esq for my NIW/EB1 application. A the time, I was not sure how to proceed, until I wrote to the Messersmith Law Firm and inquired about the process. It did not take long before the paralegal of the firm..., Mrs. Jen Ren, replied to my email, including inviting me to send my resume for review. Upon looking at my previous experiences and qualifications, Mr. Messersmith determined that I qualified for NIW/EB1. He chose to represent me on what I thought was a relatively cheaper legal fee. In fact, we came up with a payment plan that including monthly installments (super convenient for a student like me back then). Soon, he would send me a list of materials I should gather, and how to package the same in order to make a convincing case. Over 1 year, we worked together and submitted both my I-140 and I-485 together in July 2017. My family and I had many immigration issues but luckily Peter is our lawyer so everything was resolved successfully! I got a job offer from a company while on an H1B visa. Peter handles all of the immigration cases for my new company. During the H1B transfer process, Peter discovered that my pre...vious company forgot to file change of status for my spouse and three children from F2 to H4 so my spouse and children have been out of status for almost two years. Peter miraculously fixed such complicated cases and got our four H4s and H1B transfer approved in less than two months. Peter later handled my wife's O1 visa and EB1A and green cards for my family. The whole process went great and it took 7 months and one week for us to get our green cards. It was quicker than we anticipated and there were no issues at all. He was very clear on what documents he wants and how we should gather them. He’s extremely helpful throughout the whole process. My family and I are thrilled because Peter made everything possible. We invited my sister and brother in law and their four adopted children to visit us. The visa officer charged my sister and brother in law with INA 212(a)(6)(E) smuggling and INA 212(a)(6)(c)(i) misrepresentation. They were bared for life to enter the US. We retained Peter to help us resolve these issues. Peter diligently handled their cases just like he handled ours. After he filed their cases, it took about 5 months and the government removed both INA 212(a)(6)(E) and INA 212(a)(6)(c)(i) charges from both their record permanently. We’re very grateful for the amazing outcome. My wife is a cancer treatment specialist and saved many people's life. In a way, Peter is the one saving people's life because Peter fixed most difficult issues for us. Otherwise it would be impossible for us to stay here. His assistant Jen is also a very nice lady. Peter is the best lawyer I've met before. He guided me step by step to prepare all the materials that USCIS need. Peter is very professional and knowledgeable.
