Efficient & Effective

Encountering my first and LAST experience with a DUI was very scary and overwhelming. Mr. Barton was able to guide me thru the process and help me get a jump up on everything that needed to be done. Due to his advice and guidance I was able to have all of my requirements completed prior to my cour...t date which gave me a better and quicker outcome in court. Mr. Barton has always been available. He has always returned my calls and he has been able to walk me thru this dreadful situation. I highly recommend him.

Best money can buy!

Tom was excellent. Everybody makes mistakes but from the reviews I found online I knew he was the one to call. He immediately picked up explained everything and always called me back. The outcome of my case, 1st dui, reduced to reckless driving, a fine, no probation and I got to keep my license. I h...ighly recommend Tom Barton!!!

DUI - Jury Trial

After receiving a DUI in Henry County, I researched for a few days and seen notjing but positive reviews on Tom Barton and the fact he has been practicing law and an expert in DUI cases for over 25 years, I contacted him on a Saturday and he consulted me on the spot and I hired him the upcoming Monda...y. His paralegal Amy Nolan Kelly was outstanding throughout the process. She and Tom were available 24/7 for any questions that I had, which relieved some stress during this hard time period. Amy would send letters notifying me on upcoming court dates and also send a text the day before just for a reminder, which was awesome. Unfortunately my case could not be resolved before trial, but I ended up going to trial by Jury and being found "not guilty" of a DUI. Tom Barton definitely knows DUI law and will give everything he has to help you win your case and the best part about Tom was he did not guarantee a win, he notified me up front my possible sentence if convicted. Any lawyer who guarantees you a win, you should not trust them. DUI is a serious offense amd I highly recommend Mr. Barton and his paralegal Amy, they make a great team. Oh, if you didnt know, it is not a crime to deny the breathalizer on scene (inadmissable in court) or the fst's which are inaccurate and could do more harm than good if you decide to take them. Also, I was able to keep a permit to drive during the entire process, which probably wouldnt've happened if I had not hired Mr. Barton

DON'T HIRE TOM BEFORE READING THIS!!!

I was charged with a DUI along with a couple of other moving violations in Henry County; this was my third lifetime DUI offense. I was found guilty of my two prior DUI charges, and I couldn't afford to be convicted of a third; I needed competent lawyer to represent me this time around. I did my resea...rch, spoke to a few lawyers and I hired Tom because he seemed to be the most confident. When I first spoke with Tom and told him the specifics of my case, he assured me that he could get the DUI charge reduced or get the case dismissed. Long story short, he did exactly what he said he would; the DUI charge was thrown out and I pleaded guilty to the lesser charges. I was able to keep my license and move on with my life... SIDE NOTE: After I hired Tom, I coincidentally found out that he had previously represented a friend of mine and was able to get his DUI charge in Fulton County reduced. And based upon the details of my friend's case, I was HIGHLY surprised that Tom was able to get a reduction. That just goes to show how good of a lawyer Tom really is.
