I hired Nate Smith for my divorce and the day of the hearing he didn't performed. Actually my friends in court with me agreed that he was quite a sissy as a litigator. He appeared to be educated and all that but no claws... why should he if he gets paid by the hour regardless of performance. He a...lso drag the clock as much as possible to go nowhere. He was all about charging and clocking hours. He likes racking up the bill. He has 4 kids for a guy not even 45... Then his attitude regarding me as a client wasn't good. He was arrogant but I let it slip thinking that was going to be aggressive in court but no he was a pussycat. 8 hours to get the same crap as we were there 30 seconds. Just to give you an idea he didn't even object the other side bringing evidence from a dismiss TPO my ex put on me trying to get the whole house. He was creative. He's too much set in his ways that obviously don't work.

Me and my wife have been a client of Nate Smith for several years for two separate issues/cases. He has always been very helpful, along with all of his staff. Nate very rarely tells us what we want to hear but he always follows the law and gives honest advice. He is a good honest Christian man and ha...s always had a good sense of humor to help lighten the mood when we were at some low discouraging times. One of the things we admire most about him is he has moral values and he will not jeopardize that for money. If you want a crooked lawyer who plays dirty then this is probably not the attorney for you. He is very professional but also kind and we have always felt at ease while in his office. He has helped us so much with a custody/visitation case involving a very difficult ex, and praise the Lord thanks to Nate we have made so much progress in that area. We will always recommend him and his staff to everyone we meet.

I hired Nate to help me get my personal belongings out of home after divorce. I had to fire my divorce lawyer early in my case because she misrepresented herself as a divorce lawyer. He was rude to me and my elderly father and cut our conversation short. I left his office crying and thought he was st...andoffish and rude. He wouldnt let me speak and held his hand up in the air as to motion me to stop speaking. I was surprised as to his negative attitude towards me and my father! I paid Nate $150 for a 15 min conversation I thought he could of least listened to me! I assumed he was a very moody and controlling person.

Nate and his staff were very helpful in a difficult custody battle and domestic violence situation. He was able to represent me in a very difficult situation, and remain calm, collected, and understanding. Nate did a great job of keeping me involved each step of the way of what was going on, even whe...n i moved from the area across country. His office has a detailed billing process that helped me understand what work was happening and costs associated. He is smart with a wealth of experience and enthusiasm for the law...in addition to kind, and purposely real/blunt to the situation at hand for the best solution possible, that is realistic. I definitely recommend his services and will forever be grateful for representing the best interests of my children and I.
