I was under investigation by the Internal Revenue Service and the United States Department of Justice for allegedly preparing thousands of false tax returns. If I were to be indicted and convicted, I was facing over five years in prison and the payment of restitution of between $200,000.00 - $300,000.00. I was desperate and fearful over losing my freedom, being branded a convicted felon, owing the government over one quarter million dollars and losing my life as I had known it. I prayed to God for a hard fighting, aggressive and highly respected attorney who would defend me and prevent the government from ruining my life and the lives of my children. There were so many lawyers to go to but I thank God for directing me to Atlanta Attorney Howard Weintraub. Through Mr. Weintraub’s efforts, knowledge and reputation he convinced the government that I was innocent and not to bring any charges against me. I learned of Mr. Weintraub’s victory and of the government’s decision not to indict me just 8 days before Christmas, 2010. This is the greatest Christmas present I have ever received. I highly recommend Howard Weintraub to anyone in the country in need of a fantastic, hard fighting, aggressive and highly respected criminal lawyer. Thank you Howard, and Merry Christmas to you Howard Weintraub and your family.

Never in my wildest dreams could I have ever imagined that one day I would be in need of a criminal defense attorney! As a professional business woman I have worked with many outstanding lawyers, but I consider Howard Weintraub by far to be one of Atlanta’s best Criminal Defense/DUI attorneys.
Because my case en compassed a substantial amount of time, I became very familiar with his style of practice. It wasn’t long before I soon realized how special this lawyer is, not only for my case and me, but also for his other clients as well. While working on my case I noticed that he was able to structure out a successful legal strategy based on my best interest and did so by combining his infinite wisdom and legal foresight to advise me. It was truly astonishing to see that plan executed when we made our courtroom appearances!
As you would expect, Howard is very well regarded in the legal community. When we would enter the courthouse I was truly amazed how well the judges respected him, as well as, his peers.
With an unrelenting passion for the rights of his clients and an extraordinary knowledge of the law, Howard produces favorable results -- it is understandably clear why Howard Weintraub has a reputation of being an excellent attorney.
Howard possesses excellent legal skills and an extraordinary compassion for people. His legal insight coupled with his years of experience and a winning reputation, makes Howard Weintraub an outstanding lawyer in my book, and one of the top criminal defense attorneys in Atlanta.
Howard’s kindhearted nature and happy disposition makes him an extraordinary advocate. Because of his unrelenting tenacity and dedication to produce the greatest result and outcome for my case, I also consider him to be my friend.
It is with great pleasure that I endorse the services of Howard J. Weintraub, and I encourage anyone in need of a criminal defense attorney or requiring legal assistance with a DUI to contact him. Like so many clients before me, procuring the services of Howard Weintraub allowed me to discover what makes this man an excellent lawyer!

I was arrested for DUI in September, 2006. After searching for a good lawyer to represent me, a friend of mine highly recommended that I use Howard Weintraub as my attorney. What a wonderful choice that was! According to the Georgia State Patrol trooper who pulled me over because I was speeding, I had a strong odor of alcohol on my breath, my eyes were watery and bloodshot, and I stumbled when I walked outside of my car. Also, the trooper claimed that I had 6 out of 6 clues on the eye examination and that I swayed very badly during that test. I also registered .141 on the alcosensor. After the trooper arrested me, I agreed to take the breath test at the police station and I blew almost 1 1/4 times the legal limit.
After representing me for over 2 1/2 years, in December, 2008 Howard Weintraub was successful in convincing the judge in Fulton County State Court to dismiss my entire case. Because of Howard Weintraub’s efforts I was not found guilty of anything: not even of speeding (which I clearly was guilty of). Because of Howard Weintraub’s representation of me I never lost my license and I continue to have a clean record, free of any criminal convictions.
Thank you Howard Weintraub for being a caring and wonderful attorney.
Eric Bernstein, DUI and DWI Attorney
Relationship: Worked together on matter
Having worked together on a case with Mr. Weintraub, it is evident that he knows his way around a courtroom. Mr. Weintraub's knowledge of the law and eloquence of the tongue are what sets him apart from other attorneys. He also has a multitude of experience in state and federal manners. I would recommend him for any criminal or traffic matters.
