This review is long overdue, but I digress; A few years ago, I did dumb stuff running around drinking with a dumb abusive boy, I made a poor judgment call and owned it. My heart hurt, I sought penance; but more than anything, I just needed someone to hear and believe my story. One of my closest friends found Matt Crosby and I remember the first day I met him. As humiliated as I was, my father taught me you look a man in the eye and stand when you shake his hand. And from that moment, Mr. Crosby stood by me 110% of the way despite the absolute mess I dropped on his desk. He is empathetic but down to earth; he’s not going to tell you something just bc he thinks you want to hear it, he won’t give you false hope if there is none. He will shoot straight with you on where you went wrong, what we can do to fix it, AND how I can protect myself from making the same poor decisions over and over. But he LISTENS. He went way above and beyond for me, and I have been trying to pay it forward by passing that life lesson along to those who may also need it. Mr Crosby inspired the confidence in me to leave an abusive relationship, set myself some goals, and not be a dumb dumb lol Since then, I’ve had twins (plus a bonus daughter!), and haven’t drank in a couple years now.
