Wesley Charles Ross

Chuck Ross is part of Powell & Edwards' Litigation Group where he leads the firm’s Technology Litigation Practice.  With 20 years of trial experience, Mr. Ross’ practice is focused on complex litigation related to to high technology, communications, intellectual property, and privacy as well as medical malpractice, white-collar defense and municipal representation.  He has particular experience in matters involving trade secrets, data breaches, restrictive employment covenants and corporate investigations.  He has also argued before both the Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of Georgia on numerous occasions.

Prior to joining Powell & Edwards, Mr. Ross was an Assistant District Attorney in Gwinnett County, where he served as the Chief of the White Collar Division.  He has been featured on Dateline NBC, 48 Hours, Forensic Files and Solved.

He is a Past President of the Gwinnett County Bar Association and served as Chair of the Technology Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia.  He was appointed by the President of the State Bar of Georgia to serve as a member of the State Bar’s Commission on E-Filing. Mr. Ross and his family are very active in the community, particularly volunteering at Gwinnett Church in Sugar Hill.
