Avoid This Lawyer If You Are the Plaintiff
"Kem" as she refers to herself is a combination of arrogance and incompetence. She full of herself enough not to do basic research needed to protect my assets. During mediation the meditator had to forward case law she miss. On several occasions she forwarded documents that cost me dearly. The ...
Not all pairings of people are destined to work. This particular attorney-client relationship is an example. If you are who I believe that you are, I regret that you did not agree to my recommendation (early in your case) that you switch to an attorney who was a better fit for your personality or let me know about any of your frustrations (after your declined my suggestion that you change counsel) before your case was final. While there is validity to your feeling that I was not the right attorney for you, your allegations stated here are misconstrued. (The information passed during mediation was not missed research but a newly issued case. The situation was not a mistake, and it did not actually cost you anything so much as change your expected settlement. Also, no attorney can predict whether their client will like/dislike an appointed expert or know, in advance, how much the expert's hourly bill would end up costing) The problems in our working relationship were unique to you and I. And as I told you when you let me know you were displeased, I regret that I was not given the opportunity to address your concerns in real time (while your case was still active); or that you did not choose to move to an attorney more suitable to your style/preferences when I let you know about my concerns.
