Was great for a while, then just disappeared.

I've had ongoing issues with my HOA. Randy was handling the case, which seemed to be going well. We were about to the point of filing for a resolution and he just stopped returning my calls or emails. There was never any argument or falling out, I didn't have any outstanding bills with him, he just d...isappeared. I can't get in touch with him to even get my case files back. I've even tried to contact him for a referral for somebody else to pick up the case and he doesn't even respond to that.

Phenomenal Attorney

Had a problem with my HOA and was referred to Mr. Lipshutz. Called their office and left voicemail. My call was immediately returned. Spoke to him about an ongoing issue with HOA board. Hired him and the issue is being resolved. If you have an issue with your HOA or any legal matters related to HOA ...laws. Mr. Lipshutz is phenomenal. He understands the law, rates are fair/reasonable. Brilliant guy. Can’t say enough about my experience. What I like about Mr. Lipshutz the most is he’s a well seasoned attorney that understands every area of HOA law and he’s not an attack dog, like a lot of attorneys. His knowledge of the law and thoroughness speaks for itself and commands attention. Don’t think I’ll need his services in the future, but if I do, his number is now in my speed dial.

Great Service

I was looking for a lawyer to assist me with an Issue I had with the HOA in Henry county, I did my research on line and came across Mr. Randy's profile and decided to give him a call, he was readily available to answer my questions and was straight forward with providing info which helped to make the... decision to hire him. I was referred to a few other lawyers who were too busy to return a call or wouldn't provide enough info (maybe they were not sure how to proceed ). I was very happy with my initial call and made the decision to hire Mr. Randy and so far it has been an excellent experience, he returns emails promptly and with sufficient details. I will keep updating on my experience as the case moves on. Hopefully wont take too long.

Huge help in time of need.

Mr. Lipshutz was a huge help to my husband and I during a very difficult situation with an HOA in south Georgia. Mr. Lipshutz is a no nonsense kind of a guy. He shoots straight and doesn't waste your time. What could've been dragged out indefinitely was halted due to Randy's expertise. I would n...ot hesitate to refer folks to him or hire him again. I'm so thankful another local attorney referred us to him.

Real Estate inquiry - very disappointing

Unfortunately, I can only say my initial conversation with Mr. Lipshutz was good and cautious. He agreed to look into my situation and get back to me. He also informed me upfront of his $285 fee as he does not normally do consultation. Sad to say Mr. Lipshutz was referred by my NY attorney - Mr. Li...pshutz has not returned any of my 4-5 calls to his office. My last message to him was I can afford to pay the $285 if that was his concern. It is rude, unprofessional to return a call even if you prefer not to take a case!!! Someone on your level should be more professional and seasoned..... Be Blessed

In my opinion this review is inappropriate and should be removed by Avvo, because it is clear from the author's own writing that Mr. Lipshutz was neither retained nor formally consulted - i.e. no compensation was paid to him. As such, it appears to violate the Terms of Use. And in any event, it is unfair and unreasonable for one who has no meaningful, firsthand experience WORKING WITH a professional to publicly opine about him or her - or for Avvo to allow such publications. For what it's worth, to my knowledge I have never met Mr. Lipshutz, have never worked with him and have absolutely no vested interest insofar as his reputation is concerned. I merely sympathize with him as a fellow lawyer in the community who has at times been extremely busy with court deadlines, trials, travel, illness, death in the family, etc. and, due to the extremely limited time I already have for existing cases, emergencies, etc., may occasionally choose not to respond to an inquiry or communication from someone whom I know either cannot or will not retain me. Said another way, while I try my best to personally respond to every person who contact me, there are rare times when I simply do not have the time or ability to do so for one of many various reasons. That's just part of the reality of being a small business owner (in my case, a solo practitioner) and consumers/potential clients should understand and appreciate this and not take it personally. On the other hand, it is completely unacceptable for an attorney to fail to respond to calls/emails, etc. from an EXISTING client within a reasonable amount of time (e.g. 12-48 hours) barring a true emergency/actual inability to do so (or after having given notice to the client that the attorney will be unavailable for a period of time due to travel, etc.). And any attorney who fails to timely communicate with his or her client (barring a rare exception as noted above) deserves to be reviewed poorly (but this is not one of those situations). ALG

"I endorse this lawyer. Before I graduated from law school, I served as the Legal Liaison for a property management company and member of the board for my homeowner's association. In my capacity as Liaison, I worked with Mr. Lipshutz on a large variety of matters related to homeowner association complaints, collections, and contracts. Mr. Lipshutz was always on-point regarding the needs of his clients and the potential remedies to their problems. He was also generally able to convey information in a manner that the lay-person could understand. I was impressed enough with his work, that I recommended him for my association's legal work. Based on my personal experience with him, I highly endorse Mr. Lipshutz."

  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
