We both have injuries that are just beginning to heal and we were unsure about whether we needed to be represented by an attorney at all and if so would the attorney need to practice in the state in which the accident occurred. The only assistance and information I received was that since another Insurance Company was involved that they could do "nothing" and that I have to deal with the other company. I receive a call from my insurance company again denying that they were responsible for the pay out. I called Lakota and relayed this to him. He requested that I send him a copy of my insurance policy and that he would "personally" contact the agents. While I was scanning in the information I received a call from the Insurance Claims Agent that said that we would be paid and that they would honor the contract per N.C. law. I called Lakota to let him know and found out that he had made a call to them. Haven't received the check yet but I fully expect to. Lakota told me if I did not to call him and he would pursue this because "Yes" they owed us the payout.
