In 2014, he received the Top 40 under 40 award by the National Association of Trial Lawyers, as well as a preeminent 5.0 out of 5 stars by Martingale Hubbel, and is a member of North Carolina Advocates for Justice. He is also a member of the American Bar Association, and the North Carolina Bar Association.
