Review

I hired Mr. Barry almost a year ago now to help mitigate a situation. I was facing a possible court martial proceeding and chapter out of the military. Mr. Barry worked extremely hard for me to mitigate my situation, after Mr. Barry was able to finally get my case dismissed and I was punished fairly ...through UCMJ. I’m extremely glad that I found Mr. Barry, he has helped me tremendously. I truly appreciate all of his dedication and hard work. It was a pleasure to work with him. I highly recommend hiring Mr. Barry if you are facing any legal proceedings.

Best military attorney!

My husband was out of the military and was court-martialed and put back on active duty. Prior to speaking with Mr.Barry I called about 10 attorneys, Mr.Barry was the only one I felt knew what he was talking about. Hiring him was the best decision we made. My husband’s situation was extremely difficul...t, There was a lot that went into it. It felt like the military was out to get him, but Mr.Barry was invested in it from the second i called him. Matthew Louis Barry stood by my husband’s side throughout the whole process. He fought for my husband until the very end. If you are in a situation where there seems to be no way out, this is the guy you hire to get you out. I'm so thankful that I found him. Thank you so much Mr.Barry.

Hire

Helped me with my situation when no one else would. He understands the military judicial process and how to assist Soldiers in legal trouble. I'd hire again.

GOMOR

Prior to speaking with Attorney Barry, I was fairly certain about the lawyer I wanted to retain. After contacting several attorneys, I was exhausted from researching and was on a time crunch. I thought I would reach out to one last attorney for good measure - which is when I found Attorney Barry. I c...ontacted him on Thanksgiving Day where I received almost an instantaneous reply. After speaking with him over the phone, I was completely wowed by his immense care for my situation and confidence in a positive outcome. I knew from that conversation, I had received clarity. He was the best, and most obvious, choice. My GOMOR served as an extreme punishment for a vague and complex situation. This did not intimidate Attorney Barry - on our first phone call, prior to even being retained, he outlined his plan of action which was extremely thorough and ultimately successful. He truly invested in my situation, maintained excellent communication throughout the process, and went above and beyond in every way to best ensure that intended permanent GOMOR was locally filed. Attorney Barry's expertise, care, and critical thinking is unrivaled. If you are in a situation where there seems to be no way out - I strongly encourage that you retain Attorney Barry. He will work tirelessly until justice is won.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
