Thank you Mr. Barry and Team

I can’t thank Mr. Barry and his team enough for the work they did on my appeal, I am forever grateful. What you should expect from Mr. Barry is an assessment of your case before he renders any judgement. Mr. Barry will ensure to keep your expectations leveled with your chances of success. His staff... will be responsive and communicative. I was kept in the know from the time they received all my documents. Mr. Barry is also the first attorney I contacted that listened to me before drawing a conclusion. I have been trying for years to find an attorney to take on my case and as h toe years went by it began to feel like a hopeless cause until I had my consultation with Mr. Barry and his team. I received a full upgrade of my discharge to Honorable and a change in RE code to RE-1A. Thank you again to Mr. Barry and his team. Finally relief after all these years. Thank you!

U.S. Navy Veteran

My Lawyer, Mr. Mathew Barry spearheaded a case from over 32 years ago (1992), that at one point had me discharged from the US Navy with an OTH (Other Than Honorable) In Lieu Of A Court Martial, appealed my case, and with ountstanding, and remarkable results, my previous discharge has now been u...pgraded to a "General, Under Honorable Conditions". Mathew and his supporting staff (Jennifer) kept me optimistic throughout the whole proceeding. I am truly thankful for the outcome that has been awarded to me. Now I can hold my head up high, and be a proud veteran who served his country. Thanks for being that breath of fresh air to a new chapter in my life. Love your Work!

Well spent money

After being accused of EO by two separate soldiers within a six month period, Mr. Barry confidently and professionally helped me and my family overcome these legal challenges with an amazing appeal. Not only did his written appeal find the investigations unfounded, but helped the military command to ...determine that both accusations were the act of targeting attempts. My family and I couldn’t be happier with Mr. Barry’s work or the outcome we would have not received without him. I was able to return to my place of duty and continue with my career. Money very well spent.

Attorney Barry should be your first call when you are in need of legal assistance.

Mr. Barry was an outstanding attorney who went above and beyond to make my family and I feel comfortable throughout the entire process. Mr. Barry developed a strong case gathering witnesses and statements that had been deliberately left out by the investigators. He stayed in contact with me regularly... throughout my entire process and was always more than happy to be available to talk about any questions or concerns I had with my case helping to keep our minds at ease. The investigative process and following proceedings can be very stressful, especially if you have been in limbo for a while already and your left with your thoughts of your career being on the line. Mr. Barry worked alongside my Army appointed attorney to ensure every base was covered. From witnesses to medical records, Mr. Barry ensured every I was dotted, and T was crossed moving into my Board of Inquiry. He was able to get a good majority of the investigator's documents thrown out due to a poorly done and non-impartial investigation being conducted by another branch of service. I had a very poor experience with a previous attorney I hired at the start of this process before Mr. Barry and was extremely hesitant to spend another dime on outside counsel. However, Mr. Barry made me feel comfortable immediately during my consultation, not only about my case, but about him being my representation after that previous attorney's had soured my taste for civilian legal counsel as a whole. It was the best decision I ever made hiring Mr. Barry. Mr. Barry worked tirelessly on my situation; I had dual cases processing at the same time that threatened my entire 16-year career, medical retirement, and my reputation as a Soldier. The result was more than worth the wait, the appeals Mr. Barry put together for me were more than strong enough to allow me to go through with my medical retirement with no negative effects to my career I have built. No longer was an under other than honorable discharge on the table, no longer are my retirement and benefits on the line, and my reputation as a solid leader has been restored. Bottomline, if you are in need of legal representation, do not hesitate to hire Attorney Barry, his demeanor, unmatched knowledge of the military legal system, work ethic, and track record speak for themselves, and you will never have that feeling of "is my attorney doing anything for me right now, am I even a priority," running through your head. I cannot sing high enough praises. Thank you, Mr. Barry.

Saved My Military Career; Hire Attorney Matthew Barry

Attorney Matthew Barry is who you need on your legal team when facing military matters requiring legal expertise. I consulted with Matthew Barry 30 days before my scheduled disenrollment appeal from Senior Service College (War College). I executed a keyword search via google and found Matthew Bar...ry – I’m glad I did. Matthew is prior service, experienced, professionally aggressive, hardworking, and results-oriented. What I was facing was severe, irreversible, and life-altering. I needed a focused and ready legal advisor to assist my efforts to eliminate derogatory personnel information from appearing in my military records due to a decision to disenroll me from War College involuntarily. After an initial consult, I hired Matthew to assist in my efforts. I sent over applicable documents, and Matthew began digging to establish a baseline of what academic actions occurred concerning governing policies and military and civilian affairs. Matthew and I worked my appeal efforts via text, email, and occasional phone conversations – these encounters constituted the strategy that ultimately resulted in me graduating from War College. From the initial google search on 6 December to a reversal of the disenrollment decision, the entire ordeal took 38 days. I appreciate Matthew for his thoroughness in understanding my story and understanding what the ‘law’ allowed. As we put together the appeal letter, he focused on the specific acts that led to the involuntary disenrollment, vice external, and irrelevant distractors brought out during the scenario. I specifically liked how he emphasized the law and determined that the school’s actions were contrary/incompatible with the law. This approach is what led to the reversal of the involuntary disenrollment. Once the appeal document was prepared, Matthew and I reviewed the paper, and I ultimately approved it. This step was crucial, as you need to know the ins and outs of your case to articulate your position during the appeal session. I sent the appeal letter to the War College ahead of my appeal appointment, coupled with enclosures. Matthew’s attention to detail is second to none – he compiled applicable enclosures that aligned and synced with the appeal letter. Right before my appeal date, Matthew and I discussed my strategy/talking points for the appeal meeting. I’m glad he did this, as you could become flustered if a General’s first statement/question to you is, “I’ve read everything. Do you have any more or new information you want to share?” Matthew advised me to restate the facts, including a request for an alternative that benefits me should the disenrollment not be reversed. I stuck to Matthew’s guidance, told my story, and was ultimately retained to graduate from War College. I would have retained Matthew Barry further if further appeals were required via the USA HRC Redress Policy. Matthew’s development of my appeal letter with enclosures, based on hundreds of pieces of paper afforded him, was impressive, thorough, and much appreciated. I felt comfortable with Matthew’s understanding of the case and his energy to bring to life a robust appeal letter that highlighted the law, military affairs, and humanism. I hope to never again land in this position, nor do I wish this scenario on anyone else; however, if I or a colleague land in a situation requiring legal expertise, I will reach out and recommend a professional, high speed, and focused Attorney - Matthew Barry.
