Biography
Kirk J. Angel, founder of The Angel Law Firm, PLLC, is an accomplished employment attorney rooted in Western North Carolina. He is a proud graduate of UNC Asheville, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in philosophy, followed by a master’s degree and a law degree from the University of Tennessee. Mr. Angel’s diverse experience includes representing employees in employment law cases, as well as handling personal injury and workers’ compensation matters early in his career in Knoxville. As a former Trial Attorney for the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), he managed litigation and led investigations throughout North and South Carolina. In 2005, Mr. Angel established The Angel Law Firm, PLLC, where he now focuses on employment law for both individuals and businesses. He is distinguished in his field, holding an AV Preeminent® rating from Martindale-Hubbell and a 10.0 (Superb) rating from Avvo.
