Satisfied client

I was represented better than I could have ever imagined. My needs were put first and was treated as a friend rather than a number. My opinions were valued and my doubts were always reassured. Knowledgeable and Caring!

I found Ms. Hernandez's firm last year after having a bad experience with my last employer. I felt that they had taken advantage of me, but I was not sure if I had a case. Ms. Hernandez and her staff were thorough, attentive, and explained the law and strategies to help my case. She was able to res...olve my case outside of court and it only took a few months. I did not have any expectations when I contacted her firm, but I am sure glad that I did!

Slow, not responsive

I contacted Ms. Hernandez firm and spoke to her paralegal that was little to no help. She asked me to email her the documents to support my case which I did immediately after my call. I had to follow up on 3 occasions and it took over 30 days for a reply that they would not accept my case. If your lo...oking for a timely response or competent paralegal go elsewhere.

Sir/Madam: On behalf of the Law Offices of Gilda A. Hernandez, PLLC, I apologize for the firm's failure in providing you with a timely response regarding your potential claim. Because the firm does not charge consultation fees or bill by the hour, but in fact, only recovers fees, when the firm is able to provide a recovery for the potential client, we review each potential claim very carefully. To be clear, we review any and all documentation, researching the company/potential defendant, and even researching the law to determine all aspects of the potential claim, and whether our firm can provide value. While sometimes this can be done in a matter of days, sometimes it can take longer, especially when holidays and bad weather make a timely response more challenging. Finally, because these are complex civil action matters, which usually end up being litigated in state/federal court, which can take months, if not years, we must be extremely diligent in our work. That said, I apologize for your experience with our firm, if you would like to schedule a call to further discuss your potential case, feel free to call us back and schedule a meeting with me, Jill Hernandez.
