Excellent Choice for Family Divorce Attorney

From the moment I met with lead Attorney, Heather Williams Forshey at Raleigh Divorce Law, I finally drove home confident that I had someone that absolutely cared about my case. In an extremely high conflict divorce and especially Child Custody Case, Heather and her excellent paralegals and staff im...mediately got to work and proved how impressive they really are. After giving other attorney's the opportunity to work my case, only Raleigh Divorce Law did the "extras", and truly took the time to research, question, communicate, you name it, the information that was needed to produce unbelievable results. Anyone that is even contemplating a Family Divorce and for sure Child Custody issues needs to contact this firm!

Undoubtedly One of the Best...Client Focused, Practical, Prudent, Competent and Committed!

I just completed a successful custody case with the Raleigh Divorce Law Firm. I came to them after having a very disappointing experience with another attorney, in which I felt as though I had no real advocate. I was emotionally exhausted in the midst of an extremely high conflict custody case and ha...d seen no movement in my case in 7-8 months. I researched new attorneys online and saw great reviews on Heather Forshey, so I begrudgingly contacted the office, hoping to have a better experience. I met with Heather. She was succinct in our consultation and told me exactly where I was in the case, and what needed to be done. She took on my case (which was a complete and total one-sided mess with an overwhelming amount of documentation as well as high conflict issues) only a couple of weeks before my next court date. In the interim, it was Christmas vacation/New Years, and I ran into a situation, before they even began working on my case, where I was unable to have my child returned as scheduled. At the time, Heather was on holiday vacation and Lauren Hinzey returned my call. Within hours of receiving my call, Lauren had sorted out the situation and I was on my way to pick up my child shortly thereafter. Completely unexpected, considering the time of year and considering all of my past experiences were it seemed that I had no control over what was happening with my own child. It was the first time I felt like I actually had someone advocating for my children and I. Someone was in the battle…finally. Not only were they in the battle, but they were fighting with the same amount of passion and commitment I had for my children. Heather continued to work on the case thereafter, tightening up the reins on an out of control situation. I could go on forever with the countless times she and her staff completely turned around skewed situations in my favor. I was not able to make any progress with financial matters of child support prior…but she was able to double the child support I had been receiving. Heather accomplished more in the first 30 days of taking my case, then I’d seen in 8 months. Not only was she getting things done, but her billing was exceptionally fair. She made sure that my case was completed as cost effectively as possible, while never sacrificing quality of service. Beyond her laser focus on the bottom line in the best interest of her clients…she was also able to provide prudent advice at a time when my emotions were running high. I trusted her completely and I am so glad that I did. She kept a level head when I was in another orbit, wondering if the nightmare would ever end. She also provided much needed encouragement as I was going through the process. She developed every strategy possible to ensure that my case was always in the best position possible. My case was settled in the final hour, literally before court, but I attribute that to the fact that Heather and her team are truly a force to be reckoned with. After everything was said and done, I don’t think the opposing side wanted to face her in court. As with any settlement, concessions are made, but I think Heather was able to secure 99% of the terms I wanted. I received custody of both of my children, a fair schedule with their father, all outstanding issues addressed and she was able gain reimbursement for the financial issues that were pending from our divorce. Going a step further, she actually pursued things I didn’t even think of like retroactive child support, so she actually exceeded the amount I was initially seeking. Chaston, Diane, Lauren, Heather - all a fantastic group of women and consummate professionals. I think they’re as close to “superwomen” as you can get. I trusted them with what I value most in life...my children, and they handled their interests with the same level of care as an extended part of my family. Trust me…if you’re in the heat of battle, this is the team you want in your corner.
