I am not writing this to be spiteful but to give my experience. Which overall, was not a good one. and in hindsight, there were flags that I should've paid attention to. I hired this office to represent me against Merlex Auto on them selling me a vehicle that they labelled as perfectly working, which... it wasn't. One flag that was raised, was John requesting HALF of the judgment after paying him nearly 3000 dollars to get started. It's customary for lawyers to request a third but John wanted half. it caused me back away from the representation and to use said money on fixing my car but he assured me that he saw a few flags in the case that gave him a good feeling. from then to the day of representation, their were numerous times that I had to resend papers that were already sent, buy a carfax with my money (which was misplaced), and on the day of representation, In mediation, it felt like the joke was on me and I was the only person in the room that was just finding out. At times, i felt the lawyers were too familiar with each other. my lawyer was aggressive with questioning, when he should've been. he refused to ask questions to the other party which I raised. For him to be the lead lawyer of the practice, I definitely expected more from him that day. often, during the mediation I asked myself "why didn't you just use this money to fix the car?", it was money down the drain that i could've seriously used in the situation. Afterwards, I can remember vividly standing in the lobby with Mr. Gayle as he acknowledged that things didn't go so well and saying " I wish I would caught that disclaimer earlier..." and 10 seconds later asking, "do you want to pay me now the remaining 200-300 dollars for me traveling here?" I was so angry driving home that night... this costed me money, energy, and time. i felt like such a fool for paying someone to represent me like this. This was my experience.

I called the office, a little skeptical, as in the past I have contacted a law office to handle a problem with a brand new vehicle, that within the first 3 weeks, was towed 3 times. That lawyer charged us $400 for a 20 minute consult and said there was nothing they could do. The Consumer Law Group co...uldn't have been any nicer and professional, the exact opposite of what I was bracing myself for. They walked me through every step of the way with my complaint on the purchase of a 2021 Travel Trailer, that was damaged upon delivery. Jennifer was the upmost professional, who followed up when she said she would, called me with status updates and even after their work was completed, called to check in on my family. I would highly recommend this law firm for any consumer complaints one may have, as they make every step easy and do not over promise. I will recommend this law firm to all of my clients in the future that have consumer problems.

I received a letter from Mr. Gayle's office concerning a problem I was very aware of with the transmission in my 2015 Jeep Cherokee. I had taken my Jeep to the selling dealer for warranty repairs. Each time, even though the technician could easily replicate the issue, I was told that Fiat Chrysler, w...hile aware of the issue had no software or hardware fix. Upon agreeing to allow Mr. Gayle and his firm represent me, Mr. Gayle immediately went to work and after very short negations, a settlement was reached which was 10X more that Fiat Chrysler was offering in a class action suit. That is pretty much the facts of the case, but the thing that I really appreciated was the very open communication that Mr. Gayle and his staff maintained with me. Any question I had, was very promptly addressed and answered. As the case progressed, I was apprised of the progress at every phase. No email, no phone call was left unanswered. The professional way that Mr. Gayle and his assistant handled my case would easily warrant the "5 Star" rating.
