Knowledgeable and effective representation
Kristin is tops in her field, knowledgeable, empathic, and effective. I have recommended her to several other federal employees and will continue to do so.

Professional, Compassionate, Supportive, and Diligent
I spent three years of my life with the Alden Law Firm. I am forever grateful to Kristin and her associates for returning my honor and dignity. My case involved wrongful termination, EEO, criminal charges, and security clearance issues--not all at once, but progressive as I fought my accusers. I had separate attorneys for the criminal and security clearance charges but Kristin Alden was my primary attorney and her efforts were extremely useful in these other charges--she remained committed to all the charges against me and provided legal support as necessary. She and her associates confronted my case with the rigor necessary to combat the accusations. She thouroughly and meticulously researched every accusation from every angle and made compelling arguements--very knowledgeable. As the agency, who wrongfully terminated me, dug deeper to support their actions, Kristin responded with unwavering results. She explained to me, in detail, her approach to every aspect of the case so I could easily understand what her intentions were. She also took the time to explain the abundance of motions, cross motions, and legal jargen that went back and fourth between the attorneys and the judge. Kristen was not only my attorney, but became my support when I wanted to give up. She truly believed in my case and became my encouragement to move forward. She remained professional during times of personal frustration and helped me through these tough times. She worked with me, financially, on the associated legal fees--money well spent. It's extremely difficult to capture three years worth of litigation in this review. What I can say is that I am so very glad that someone recommended Kristin to me at the beginning of my legal journey. I whole heartedly recommend Kristin and the Alden Law Firm to anyone who is looking for a professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate attorney.

Just terrific in every way!
Kristin Alden negotiated my settlement with a former employer, and represented me in follow up discussions navigating disclosures around the settlement agreement. She was exceptional - smart, analytical, professional, strategic and empathic. More than that, she made herself available to me whenever necessary, listened to my concerns and my thoughts regarding the best approach, and constructively and cogently offered wise counsel. I highly recommend her without reservation!

Caring and professional
I was terminated by my employer due to some accusations from a co-employee for illegal transactions. I was referred by Atty. Kristin Alden and found her to be very cordial and completely honest about the chances of augmentation to my settlement. After only one meeting with my ex-employer, they offered me an acceptable settlement with full additional months of salary, continuation of my medical benefits, plus payment in full of my legal bills. We got the justice that I deserve. I would recommend Atty. Kristin for anyone in need of employment law attorneys in albuquerque new mexico and also https://thebennettlawgroup.com/employment-lawyers-albuquerque/

Excellent Attorney
I would highly recommend Kristen Alden. I hired her after a particularly egregious sexual harassment situation. She did an excellent job on my case. She met all deadlines and explained things to me so that I could understand. I was really traumatized by what had happened to me and it made it hard for me to participate in the case. Just reading the affidavits would give me a panic attack, something I’ve never experienced before. Kristen and her team were patient with me and helped me navigate these challenges. They let me know in advance when things were happening so I wouldn’t be surprised and get freaked out. They were able to make this process as painless as possible. When I started working with them, my harasser was threatening to ruin my career. Now my career is right back to the great path it started on. I’m really grateful to her and her team.

Review From a Grateful Disabled Veteran
Ms. Alden did an outstanding job representing me in the disability discrimination case I had to bring against my agency. I was truly amazed at how knowledgeable she was on a wide variety of topics including all applicable federal disability laws, VA disability guidelines, Equal Opportunity statutes, Workers Compensation rules and Federal Disability regulations. In addition to being the best lawyer I ever encountered, she was also the most caring and compassionate attorney I have ever met as well. All throughout the stressful two year period prior to my settlement, Ms. Alden was easily assessable throughout the entire process and I could always reach her when I needed to discuss my case. Speaking to her would ease my nerves during very difficult times as she would reassure me that I was in good hands and everything would be okay. Ultimately, she was correct. Thanks to her, my case was settled and the terms of the agreement were very favorable. I cannot say enough good things about Ms. Alden and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a highly qualified attorney who works hard, goes the extra mile and truly cares about her clients! If that is the type of attorney you are looking for, then I believe you will be extremely pleased if you hire Attorney Kristin Alden. Without a doubt, it is one of the best choices I have ever made!

Victory!
To sum up may case in one word, Victory! After contacting two attorneys and both of them turning me away, I began to feel hopeless and ready to throw in the towel. After venting my frustration to my neighbor, he referred me to the Alden LG he said "they're a force to be reckoned with". I figured, after two strikes with previous attorneys I had nothing to lose. I contacted the Alden LG and it was the best thing I ever did! My federal employer wrongfully terminated me, The Alden LG – Kristin and Dominick took care of me in more ways than one, and in over a year I returned back to work with back pay and interest and my dignity was restored. My neighbors’ comment about the Alden LG holds true “The Alden LG is a force to be reckoned with”.

Search no more! Alden LG is the undoubtedly the best in the business!
I was in the same situation as most of you, confused, anxious, hesitant, upset due to being wronged, and seeking someone to not only hear me out but also provide sound legal advice other than "this is going to be costly". I had already retained counsel from another law firm, which proved to be a mistake and I found myself seeking counsel in the midst of discovery. I had spent 2 years of time, lots of money, and energy to have the ball dropped at such a pivotal point. My case was an official hot mess! The law firm I spoke to after firing my initial attorney only advised me that if I was to proceed, my case would get very expensive, but they were more than happy to represent me. Feeling uneasy and that I wasn't provided any real advice for the consult I paid for, I decided to continue my search and that is when I was referred by a colleague to Kristen Alden and her law firm. Little did I know that was the game changer for my case. I had a single consultation with Kristen that felt alot more like a conversation and for the the first time during my matter that I felt listened to; she was patient, informative, and brilliant with her advice. Why brilliant? Because I followed her advice to the letter and within 3 weeks my case had leapt from Agency counsel saying they would never consider settlement to having a settlement offer in my inbox, which Kristen reviewed. Hindsight being 20/20 I probably could have saved myself alot of time, stress, and energy, if I would have gone with the Alden Law Group from the beginning. Let my mistake be your lesson, go with Kristen and her law group. Additionally, Kristen Alden and her law group have CLOUT, yes they have a professional reputation that made the agency counsel change their entire strategy and approach. Kristen and The Alden Law group is the real deal, do yourself a huge favor and make sure to take the consultation, it is worth every penny and then some.

A Lawyer with Integrity
I hired on with Kristin Alden to review my case after I suspected foul play from my then legal team. My fears were confirmed to include learning something new about how my ex-legal team misled me concerning damages which they said I was entitled to but actually was not. That mistake cost me well over $30,000 in legal fees alone and would have cost me many more thousands had I continued with them. The Alden Group is expensive but totally worth it for many reasons. Why spend less when you can hire the best?

Do not hesitate!
I chose Kristin as my attorney after she was recommended by several colleagues as an expert in the field of employment law. It was an agonizing decision for me which attorney to hire, as I felt my entire future depended on it. I am so pleased with how my case was handled by Kristin and her firm and with my final outcome, which ended more in my favor than I had even hoped. I would recommend Kristin with absolutely no reservations.

Outstanding attorney
Kristin had my complete confidence within 15 minutes of our initial interview, and then throughout our representation. I was impressed by both her breadth of experience as well as her knowledge of the legal issues in my matter. I also found her to be very attuned to legal fees, including by fully educating me as to the various strategies available, and what each would cost.

The Right Team Can Beat Tremendous Odds & A Huge Federal System
Kristin Alden and her team are a dedicated, talented and thorough group of professionals that helped a combat disabled veteran overcome major odds to gain victory against the largest government agency and its overwhelming advantage of resources and time. She used great skill to blend my personal experience with the law and provide a clear path for the court to have a comprehensive understanding of how the agency and federal executives took advantage of their trusted positions of authority to manipulate staff and internal operations and deliberately discriminate against an individual. The case revealed it is not a single example but something that is repeated time and again all across the federal system. In my case the chance of success was less than 5%, yet we developed the trust and confidence that we could overcome tremendous odds and it was an amazing experience to be proven right. I know her team will do all it can to help others beat the odds and find justice.

Experienced, Knowledgeable and Resolute
I found Kristin Alden online. At the same time, I was asking for a recommendation from a couple of attorney acquiantances who did not practice in this area. Interestingly, they both recommended her. I am grateful that I hired Kristin. After our initial consult, I felt confident that she would fight for me. She was realistic from the beginning about the merits of my case (strong) and how much compensation that I would be able to get given that it was an EEO case. She made it clear that settlement was the likely path and a good path as it would allow me to move forward with my life rather than continuing to deal with the emotional and physical harm this was causing me. She was and is a very compassionate person. She empathized with me. She is very personable which was important to me. As far as her expertise, she knows the law in and out. This is important to understand because it really comes down to what is legal and illegal. She is on top of deadlines which is critical to an EEO case. She is aware of the "games" the government takes to delay. Kristin is well connected which is significant as she clearly has a good rapport and reputation with judges who ultimately become involved in either a settlement or a court date. She is resolute with opposing counsel. Kristin has a presence and confidence about her. She has a lot of experience and will fight for you. I was very pleased with my settlement. I have recommended her to others. You can't go wrong with Kristin!

More than expected outcome
Kristin won the case and achieved more than I expected. This was my first interaction with a lawyer, and it turned out to be extremely rewarding. The case involved the National Institutes of Health.

Negotiating a settlement in a complex EEO/ discrimination case
I was referred to Ms. Alden by way of her known expertise in handling Federal cases associated with EEO complaints. Ms. Alden did an outstanding job, from beginning to end, in ensuring the case settled with amicability on both sides of the table. She was very communicative both in written and verbal form, knowledgeable of the law and trustworthy. Thank you
