Matthew

The removal from Federal Service was one of the most traumatic experiences in my lifetime, and the litigation would have truly been impossible to navigate without the expertise of Kristin Alden and her associates. From the initial consultation, to the MSPB Hearing, and then the resulting Settlement-... Kristin and her staff were profoundly competent. I could not be more pleased with the result. It was a long, difficult journey - and it is one you should never contemplate taking alone. Thank you, Kristin!

Just terrific in every way!

Kristin Alden negotiated my settlement with a former employer, and represented me in follow up discussions navigating disclosures around the settlement agreement. She was exceptional - smart, analytical, professional, strategic and empathic. More than that, she made herself available to me whenever n...ecessary, listened to my concerns and my thoughts regarding the best approach, and constructively and cogently offered wise counsel. I highly recommend her without reservation!

Experienced, Knowledgeable and Resolute

I found Kristin Alden online. At the same time, I was asking for a recommendation from a couple of attorney acquiantances who did not practice in this area. Interestingly, they both recommended her. I am grateful that I hired Kristin. After our initial consult, I felt confident that she would fight f...or me. She was realistic from the beginning about the merits of my case (strong) and how much compensation that I would be able to get given that it was an EEO case. She made it clear that settlement was the likely path and a good path as it would allow me to move forward with my life rather than continuing to deal with the emotional and physical harm this was causing me. She was and is a very compassionate person. She empathized with me. She is very personable which was important to me. As far as her expertise, she knows the law in and out. This is important to understand because it really comes down to what is legal and illegal. She is on top of deadlines which is critical to an EEO case. She is aware of the "games" the government takes to delay. Kristin is well connected which is significant as she clearly has a good rapport and reputation with judges who ultimately become involved in either a settlement or a court date. She is resolute with opposing counsel. Kristin has a presence and confidence about her. She has a lot of experience and will fight for you. I was very pleased with my settlement. I have recommended her to others. You can't go wrong with Kristin!

Professional, Compassionate, Supportive, and Diligent

I spent three years of my life with the Alden Law Firm. I am forever grateful to Kristin and her associates for returning my honor and dignity. My case involved wrongful termination, EEO, criminal charges, and security clearance issues--not all at once, but progressive as I fought my accusers. I had ...separate attorneys for the criminal and security clearance charges but Kristin Alden was my primary attorney and her efforts were extremely useful in these other charges--she remained committed to all the charges against me and provided legal support as necessary. She and her associates confronted my case with the rigor necessary to combat the accusations. She thouroughly and meticulously researched every accusation from every angle and made compelling arguements--very knowledgeable. As the agency, who wrongfully terminated me, dug deeper to support their actions, Kristin responded with unwavering results. She explained to me, in detail, her approach to every aspect of the case so I could easily understand what her intentions were. She also took the time to explain the abundance of motions, cross motions, and legal jargen that went back and fourth between the attorneys and the judge. Kristen was not only my attorney, but became my support when I wanted to give up. She truly believed in my case and became my encouragement to move forward. She remained professional during times of personal frustration and helped me through these tough times. She worked with me, financially, on the associated legal fees--money well spent. It's extremely difficult to capture three years worth of litigation in this review. What I can say is that I am so very glad that someone recommended Kristin to me at the beginning of my legal journey. I whole heartedly recommend Kristin and the Alden Law Firm to anyone who is looking for a professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate attorney.
