Marc has represented thousands of tenants in the District of Columbia. For the last ten years, he has supervised the legal team at the D.C. Tenants’ Rights Center, a private law firm that he founded with the mission of providing high-quality, low-cost legal services to tenants in the District of Columbia. Marc has grown the firm to now include a dedicated team of five attorneys, all of whom focus exclusively on representing D.C. tenants. Marc and his team pride themselves on delivering high value to all clients, paying careful attention to their budgets. The D.C. Tenants’ Rights Center’s services include everything from one-time phone consultations, to full representation in court. Before opening the D.C. Tenants’ Rights Center, Marc represented tenants as a staff attorney at Neighborhood Legal Services Program from 2008 to 2012. Since 2011, he has volunteered with the D.C. Bar Pro Bono Center as an “expert mentor” in the area of D.C. landlord-tenant law. He holds a B.S. in biochemistry from Yale University and a law degree from the U.D.C. David A. Clarke School of Law. He is admitted to practice law before the D.C. Superior Court, the D.C. Court of Appeals, the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit. Marc is the proud father of two children.
