We went to Deborah as per court order, expecting what had happened the first time which was more fighting and no progress, however we left after maxing out our time on the same team again! It was truly a miracle and I still can't believe it. She talked to us like she knew us forever and said things t...hat will stick with me forever. Phenomenal person and attorney! She gives lawyers a good name.

Deborah Brand discussed every option in my custody case and let me know the costs involved before she did any work so I was not surprised with a huge bill. Even though there was a change to the custody law which required much more legal research on her part, she did not tell that I should simply "acc...ept what was in my current custody order and get over it" or "I need to be more flexible" as other attorneys had that I paid outrageous amount of money. I would not want any other attorney to negotiate on my behalf. She is well respected in the legal community and is clearly at ease and well prepared in front of custody conciliators and judges. My only regret was that I did not retain her from the very beginning. I could have saved years and thousands of dollars in attorney fees.

Deborah made an extremely terrible life event into something bearable. I never imagined in my worst nightmare getting divorced and becoming a single parent of three children. She was able to calm my wife down when she became emotional and angry and got us to focus on the end game. Her management of the mediation kept us from getting bogged down in unnecessary detail that really didn't matter. She was also very supportive for me to get through this nightmare that I never would have imagined having to go through. The divorce is still very stressful because I still hope that my wife will get the help she needs and return to the kids and me. I can't control that. Deborah was instrumental in getting me to a place that resulted in a stable situation for my children. That was my main goal which she helped me achieve. If you ever find yourself in a situation not of your making, I would recommend Deborah's help in making the best of a bad situation.

I have used Deborah for custody mediation. She is absolutely fantastic. She listened to both sides of the stories and offered great suggestions on how to resolve the issues. She is genuinely concerned about the children's best interest and wants to see the parents work out their disagreements. We... even ran over the hour time slot but she didn't push us out the door. In comparison to the last mediator she is a 100% improvement! She also recommended an attorney in another county for a friend. She always seem to want to help you out during a difficult time.
