Probate 30%

Trying to probate someone's estate is usually very difficult for family members who are still grieving for their loss. I help families by handling the legal work for them, from filing the Petition for Probate to open the estate through preparing the Pennsylvania Inheritance Tax Return, distributing estate assets to the beneficiaries and closing the estate with the court.

Estate issues

Patricia was extremely knowledgeable, compassionate, kind and helpful at a most difficult time. No matter how emotionally motivated my demeanor she always helped in anyway possible. I was extremely grateful to have her as my attorney.

Stood by me...

Patricia Brennan stood by me through at least 110 filings/hearings that were necessary over a period of years in order for my rights to be protected in a divorce proceeding. We established an 'up front', honest working relationship which helped us present a united, professional team. If I had not h...ad this strong person at my side, I am not sure how I would have survived the pressure to just 'give up'.

Smart and easy to work with

Patricia helped me through an emotional divorce (is there another kind?) and was exactly the right combination of kind and understanding and focused on the facts and tasks at hand. She also rewrote my will including a living will and was great for that as well. Highly recommend her.

Great, personable lawyer

Patricia has been my lawyer for over 10 years. She prepared my will, guided me and my ex-wife through a divorce and arranged deed transfer of three properties. Additionally, when I needed commercial legal advice she pointed me in the right direction. I am very glad that I have Patti to turn to for pe...rsonal legal matters.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
