I am currently in the process of having criminal background checks performed against me for my current job search. Nearly 13 years ago I had done something incredibly stupid and was very concerned that it may get flagged during these checks. I emailed Brian directly on a Friday afternoon after call...ing his office and learning he was not in that day. To my surprise he emailed me back later that night with very helpful information on how to access the PA PATCH system to obtain an official background check for myself. His reply was very cordial and detail oriented and most of all helpful. This kind of service is so rare these days and I can't thank him enough. Mr. Fishman earned my son the best possible results for his theft charges. We were fighting an uphill battle with multiple charges in two cities. Brian is a very good lawyer he fought hard for my husband. My husband was charged with attempted murder---while on probation for a gun charge...tough right??! Not for Brian, he got him pre trial house arrest to get him back home to his family. He is very knowledgeable, honest (you can also be brutall...y honest with him), and follow up on email/calls/texts in a timely manner. He always got back to me within a few hours. He does what he says he will do--unlike other lawyers in our past. He kept me informed, copied me on emails/letters/petitions that I was allowed to see. We were denied house arrest one, he tried again. We were denied the detainer lifts , he tried again. He worked really hard and I could tell he did all he could (all the while I still owed him money). Of course we were reminded of our outstanding balance, but he never made it the focus of the case. He always looked tired when I saw him at court---- but that's because he fights hard for his client. Even when we were denied the previous house arrest and detainer attempts, I knew he did HIS job, its ultimately the judges decision. Brian did not quit and got my husband home on housecarrest....which was very tough considering the serious nature of the crime. I would highly recommend him , hopefully we won't need him any longer!! We still have to go to trial in Novem, but I feel confident in the case. If you are facing the criminal justice system.....get Brian!!!!

Our family hired Brian to help with a family member that took a wrong turn in life and made some bad decisions. Our child was charged with many counts of felony theft, conspiracy, deception, and a multitude of other charges stemming from drug addiction. Brian could see our child was a good person who... had a past of being a good person and simply made mistakes that went down a dark path. In fact I went back to Brian for a referral in our local area when things took another turn for the worse because I trust him and by extension the people he would recommend. The day that I called Mr. Fishman was the worst day of my life. I was just discharged from hospital before I was arrested, and charged with assault and recklessly endangering another person. My preliminary hearing was couple days away, and I was 4 months pregnant, with no support system in the city. ...I had no idea what to do. Mr. Fishman was really nice on the phone, he calmed me down, listened to my story, told me everything’s gonna be alright. and set up a meeting on the next day.
