Life Saver

I can't say enough about the team of Tina Willis and her partner, but I’ll try.I got into an accident in August of 2017 on International Drive in Orlando, FL. The other driver, a tourist from the UK, was at fault and admitted it at the scene. Police and ambulance were called, somehow I still ended up... dizzy driving my wrecked car home. In my driveway, I called one of the major Orlando car accident firms; huge mistake. From the start, they assigned my case to a very robotic-like paralegal. Our first fallout was when I asked to get a copy of my medical bills up to that point (which was only chiropractic bills at that point). She responded by excitedly saying, “We found a million dollars in your case!” At a time when I was physically hurting from my injuries, and losing money from my missed time from work, this did not impress me. I responded by saying, “Ok, can I get a copy of my bills though.” I never got them... Later, she sent a demand to the insurance company for $1M. They politely responded that my injuries had nothing to do with my accident with their insured and offered $15k to get rid of me. They even accused me of being in a subsequent accident I was never in. Mind you, by this time the chiropractor had sent me out for an MRI which reported that I had herniations in my spine at c6 and 7, and also at s5/l1. The herniated lumbar disc also had an annular tear. I was referred out to a spine surgeon who suggested spinal injections for the pain. The injections didn’t help, and I ultimately had decompression surgery. Three days after surgery, while leaking fluid from my back and dizzy from pain killers, the boss of this law firm insensitively requested for me to come to his office after I complained about his paralegal. Not thinking clearly, I went. While there, he spoke about how expensive my case was going to be (since the defendant lived in the uk), and that he’d be willing to offer 20% contingency fees if I stayed with the firm. I agreed and gave them another chance. Another mistake. They filed a lawsuit, and I met a new lawyer who’d be representing me. He was nice until he assumed as a black business owner that I didn’t have tax returns to show the insurance company for my loss wage claim. Absurd but true... His legal assistant also missed an important deadline to respond to a defense motion. I threatened to leave, and the boss once again reassured me that he’d take care of me and the associates assumptions. He also reassigned my case to a new lawyer. The new lawyer was younger and seemed easy to communicate with, but had the same issue of missing deadlines that I caught by staying informed on the clerk of courts website (actually caught him twice). It was at this point I had finally had enough. I called them all out and start searching for a new firm. Also, I had gotten another round of injections and fusion surgery to my neck. Another lumbar surgery was still potentially about to happen. I stumbled across Tina Willis and she immediately stood out from the other personal injury lawyers because on her website she left a number to text. I texted her and she quickly responded. She also introduced me to her partner, who was really hip and communicated well with me. I really felt a good energy from them both and I signed up. Almost immediately, the insurance company started acting differently. They all of a sudden communicated more, and pushed to move the case along faster (they had canceled other events in the past). I never heard anything more about the subsequent accident, and they were now actually making strides to resolve my case. They never did this in 12 months of litigation from the other firm. Only when Tina and her partner got involved is when they started playing nice. I can’t lie, it felt good having two experienced lawyers representing me. I really saw the true aggressive lawyers they are

Great Attorney in Orlando Florida

What a great job she has done on personal injury cases in Orlando. Helpful and knowledgeable on every aspect of legal cases. Tina takes phone calls and returns them promptly. She explains the process and keeps you informed on each steps as you go. This is a great choice for an injury or accident ...claim lawyer. Great Person as well as Attorney! Thanks Tina!
