He points with pride to succesful acquittals in gun and drug cases, and felony and misdemeanor cases including Aggravated Assault, Simple Assault, Felony Firearm charges, Drug Possession, Driving Under the Influence, and more.  

Mark Copoulos is a busy Landlord-Tenant lawyer.  He has obtained thousands of verdicts for satisfied landlords and tenants in resolution of their matters.  He has successfully evicted delinquent tenants, and stopped tyrannical landlords. He is prompt and expeditious in his representation.  He understands that TIME and MONEY are the most important components of any landlord-tenant case.

Mark Copoulos is active in the community.  He is a former treasurer of the Philadelphia Criminal Law American Inn of Court. Mr. Copoulos has provided Pro Bono legal service to the Philadelphia Volunteer Indigent Program ("VIP"), as well as the Philadelphia Support Center for Child Advocates.  

Mark is a graduate of the University of Arizona and the Villanova University School of Law.  In college, he was a Resident Assistant, Student Body Senator, and Mock Trial and Debate Team Standout.  He is particularly proud of his voracious work ethic in college, where he held down two part-time jobs, despite being extremely involved in campus life. At law school, Mark made the Moot Court Board and Trial Competition Team.

Mark points with pride to his humble beginnings. Since the age of sixteen he worked a litany of part-time jobs including U-Haul, various small businesses, a Mexican cafe, and other college related employers.

He is admitted to practice before the the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and the Supreme Court of New Jersey.  He maintains active membership with the Philadelphia Bar Association, and the Philadelphia Criminal Law Inn of Court chapter.

Amazing landlord tenant attorney
My boyfriend and I found Mark online by searching landlord tenant lawyers in the Philadelphia area. He was one of the first attorneys that showed up on google with a 5 star rating. That right there speaks for itself. My boyfriend's previous leasing company tried to take him to court, stating he hadn't paid for 3 months rent when we had receipts showing he never missed a rent payment since moving in. On the day of court, Mark refused to settle with the leasing company and took matters to the judge. The outcome- "Judgement for Defendant." We are extremely satisfied with his services, and he stayed in constant communication with my boyfriend. We highly recommend his services.

I prematurely provided an online service rating of your performance on my cases as Average. As I stated during a phone conversation on September 11, 2018. Mark took my son Malique case and he done a phenomenal job. My son was supposed to been home 2 years ago but yet he sat. I prayed and ask God to point me in the right direction to help my son with his paperwork to get him home. I came across Mark . Mark was great from beginning to end. All you have to do is make sure all fees paid and let him get the job done! He never refused our calls and always return calls. Mark didn't stop until he got my son home! And yup! Great experience with Mark Copoulos
We were in a position where we needed to recover monies owed us from a difficult landlord. Mark was terrific in working through the strategy for how to best position our case and we ultimately prevailed, in large part due to Mark's excellent cross-examining of the landlord in court. Mark was accessible, friendly, responsive, and tough, but practical. His fees were reasonable and we definitely believe we got our money's worth and more. Incredibly Stellar and a Guaranteed Victory
Best defense attorney in the city, and most certainly worth the money. I recently found myself in a situation with criminal charges placed against me for simple assault, reckless endangerment and criminal mischief. Although I was sure of my innocence, I didn't trust this matter in the hands of a public defender. Only days before the case goes to trial, I made a call to Mark, whom Id only found by googling for a Philadelphia criminal defense lawyer. He was my first choice. Not only did I get a next day consultation, he was involved and invested from that first call. While I was expecting a prolonged and drawn out trial, Mark assured me he could have it dismissed, or a verdict of not guilty by the first trial. He didn't even bother me to entertain a notion of ARD. This past Monday, we went to trial and hit a home run with a verdict of not guilty. Mark is precise, attentive to detail and superb. He preformed brilliantly, and bestowed within me a new confidence. Even more, he's affordable and fair. If ever I find myself in trouble again, he's definitely my guns! You can't go wrong.

very efficient and effective. look no further than MARK COPOULUS
when my landlord (the defendant), who failed to appear at the first hearing, applied to re-open the case, my original lawyer was no longer available so i was forced to hire a new lawyer, and incur additional costs. mark was understanding of my situation and took the case at a discount. he absolutely nailed it and demonstrated during the hearing that he thoroughly understood every element of the case. he was assertive, yet professional with the judge, and fought hard for me, resulting in not only a win, but also had the judge award me my legal fees (which was not mandatory in my case). if you are shopping around, stop right now and book mark before he's too busy to take your case. you will be in good hands. he's intelligent, well-spoken, assertive, patient and knows the reality of what you can, and should not, expect from the law given your case. i will be sending all my philly friends to mark, should they require a lawyer.

Before I hired Mark, I googled him and I looked at the reviews about him. He is exactly as he has been described. He was extremely concerned by my problem and he was a very good listener. He gave me so much confidence, and he was very positive. I was supposed to go to my trial today, but we ended up without it, by having a judgement by agreement. LOOK NO FURTHER, HE'S THE ONE.
Mark is aggressive, scrappy and detail oriented, with sharp wit and class. He took his responsibility to us very seriously, but his personality was so cool, that he was actually fun to work with. Example: I warned him that the group he was going up against (a big property management company) were assholes. He has met them in court before and his reply was this "Yes, it's going to be a dog fight, and I'm ok with that", and then went on to discuss the merits of our case. He was highly communicative and responsive and instilled so much confidence in me (and let me tell you...I'm not the easiest person to deal with. I can be a tough customer), that I actually relaxed. There are no guarantees in legal battles, but I really felt great about the possibilities with him as our attorney. Oh...and WE WON. Still reading? WHY?? Call him, hire him. But if you want details...This was a landlord/tenant thing. My daughter and I were in a legal dispute with her property manager. They actually refused to speak to us about the issues at hand. Simply ignored all emails and phone calls. Amazing. It got to the point that their only response was via their attorney who sent my daughter an eviction notice! She was a graduating senior, already stressed, and I live in California. Tough. She was a basket case! I knew that I was going to have to find someone to help us...and fast. There was also a sizable amount of $$$ involved between us that I stood to either win or lose with these people. I am obviously more than satisfied with his work and the outcome of our case. Not that I ever want to be in this type of position again, but if I had to be, I'd want him on our side.

Mark is the real deal. He is very affordable and have his client's best interest at heart. Mark successfully fought and won my DUI case without me having a witness, even though it seemed that I needed a witness to have a chance at winning my case.

GREAT LAWYER!!!
My son Charlie was arrested for drug possession. Somebody recommended that I call Mark. I was worried he was going to be more expensive than I could afford. Mark was great. He didn’t even make me pay the entire fee when we settled the case early.

Fought Hard For Me
Mark fought hard for me when the Public Defender ignored my case. The judge also seemed against me. He got a continuance and kept fighting until we got the result I wanted. He didn't charge me extra for the extra court appearances. He was there to protect me at a time when it seemed like no one else in the world was interested in justice. Thank you Mark!

Great Lawyer
Mark did a great job representing me in Philadelphia Municipal Court, and he offered to do it at a fraction of the price of other attorneys.
