A lawyer's lawyer.

I hired Scott Goldshaw to represent my law firm in a contentious dispute. From our first discussion, Scott showed his keen insight and real compassion. In fact, that initial conversation immediately made me a better lawyer - I realized I needed to try harder to be as empathetic as Scott in my own c...lient communications. Throughout our difficult case, Scott, his associate, Christen, and the firm's courteous staff worked conscientiously for me, always keeping me in the loop. He clearly earned the respect of opposing counsel and the court. And we achieved a terrific result. I highly recommend him.

Education, Consultation, Negotiation

I engaged/retained this firm after having trying to engage 3 other attorneys — who ghosted. My first contact was with Andi Paul who explained the process and set the tone that Id be working with decent human beings who would not merely treat this as a transaction. Scott Goldshaw was the only person I... had to recount my situation — no repeating over and over. Scott provided some education that facilitated our having a common language and expedited our work. He consulted with me — establishing goals and expectations. We worked out an efficient process of collaboration where we shared resources and documents. Scott has a breadth of knowledge about the law and also various organizations in Phila - he is also known for litigating in court - which is a distinct advantage. But what was most important to me at this time was that, as Andi foreshadowed, this was consistently a human interaction. Importantly, it was reassuring to work with a lawyer who was familiar with PTSD. Every interaction was humanistic, trustworthy, and kind. The conclusion met our goals quickly.

Scott Goldshaw is, simply put, the strongest Employment Attorney. Seriously.

I'll explain. First things first - Scott got me a 6 figure settlement in an employment dispute I had. Before hiring him, I spoke with other attorneys, and no one was able to understand the situation nearly as well as Scott did, and no one better understood the stresses this was putting on my fam...ily. After I hired him, I don't know a better word to use - he was magnificent. My ex-employer is huge. My allegations of unethical behavior were very serious. So they had the resources and incentive to fight me hard. And they did. They brought both their in-house lawyers and hired external attorneys from a very big name law firm to come at me. Scott outmaneuvered them like he was Neo from the Matrix, effortlessly dodging bullets. It was almost spooky sometimes, he anticipated what they were going to do long before they did it, and his brilliant/aggressive tactics were therefore that much more effective. He also continually was thinking about my allegations against the company. He knew that was important to me to ensure the unethical behavior ended. And because of that, it was important to him. We were 100% successful. Scott is a very nice guy, but there are lots of nice people out there. What makes Scott unique is he would always tell me what I needed to hear, not what I wanted to hear. Sometimes I would get emotional and overreach, and he would clearly let me know what I was doing was not helpful to achieving our goals. He would clearly tell me about the advantages and disadvantages of different options, and let me decide based on what was more valuable and important to me. With Scott as your attorney, your stress level will dramatically drop. He is on top of everything, and stays cool and calculating at all times. He will outhink opposing counsel and be as aggressive as necessary to be maximally effective. Most importantly he will be looking out for you - your financial situation, your stress level, and what's overall best for you and the people most important to you. Only the strongest Employment Attorney can excel in all these areas. Scott Goldshaw is, simply put, the strongest Employment Attorney.

An outstanding lawyer - Superb service and great results

Scott Goldshaw is an outstanding lawyer. He is very experienced in his field (employment law), he is extremely sharp, smart, knowledgeable, and highly strategic. But his uniqueness is in his ability to truly relate to his clients' situations and deeply understand their cases, positions, and points of... view. In my experience with him as my lawyer, Scott always took the time to listen carefully to what I had to say, to explain the logic behind his clever strategies and recommendations (multiple times, if needed), to consult and direct me in the right path, and most importantly, Scott helped me achieve results that were beyond my expectations. While working with him, I felt that I had a sophisticated, driven, and caring partner on my side. One example was the way he prepared me for my first deposition; Scott made sure I was ready, able, and that I felt comfortable with the process. I never thought I'd say this about a lawyer, but it was a pleasure to work with him and to be his client. Scott Goldshaw is the lawyer you want on your side when you need help!

Remarkable lawyer

My effort to recount my experience with Mr. Goldshaw has me reaching for superlatives. What accounts for my abundant enthusiasm? I should start with the obvious fact, which is readily apparent from his resume and accolades, that he is a top-notch, brilliant attorney. Having been a client of his, what... I imagine distinguishes Mr. Goldshaw from other attorneys at the very top of the profession is that with Mr. Goldshaw, not only will your outcome be the best possible, but so will your journey, which is extremely significant if you indeed find yourself in the vulnerable, stressful, and perhaps painful situation of needing an employment lawyer. To begin with, Goldshaw does not consider himself a solo performer, but rather a team player and captain. That is to say, right from the beginning, as a client, you will find Scott working with you rather than just for you. He continually updates you with all the legal subtleties and complexities of your case as it moves forward, and explains carefully what he thinks are the best options. He listens carefully to your opinions and feedback, and acts according to your best interest, always with your full consent. During my time as a client, I also got the sense that Goldshaw understood and empathized with my personal circumstances. He has a thoughtful and supportive nature. On the flip side, I often saw flashes of his strength and resolve against injustice. He has a rare and balanced combination of kindness and toughness. That is to say, depending upon what circumstances require, he can be a fighter or a mensch!. If you are looking for the best employment lawyer, you can stop looking. Hiring Mr. Goldshaw was the best business decision I ever made.
