A lawyer's lawyer.

I hired Scott Goldshaw to represent my law firm in a contentious dispute. From our first discussion, Scott showed his keen insight and real compassion. In fact, that initial conversation immediately made me a better lawyer - I realized I needed to try harder to be as empathetic as Scott in my own c...lient communications. Throughout our difficult case, Scott, his associate, Christen, and the firm's courteous staff worked conscientiously for me, always keeping me in the loop. He clearly earned the respect of opposing counsel and the court. And we achieved a terrific result. I highly recommend him.

Education, Consultation, Negotiation

I engaged/retained this firm after having trying to engage 3 other attorneys — who ghosted. My first contact was with Andi Paul who explained the process and set the tone that Id be working with decent human beings who would not merely treat this as a transaction. Scott Goldshaw was the only person I... had to recount my situation — no repeating over and over. Scott provided some education that facilitated our having a common language and expedited our work. He consulted with me — establishing goals and expectations. We worked out an efficient process of collaboration where we shared resources and documents. Scott has a breadth of knowledge about the law and also various organizations in Phila - he is also known for litigating in court - which is a distinct advantage. But what was most important to me at this time was that, as Andi foreshadowed, this was consistently a human interaction. Importantly, it was reassuring to work with a lawyer who was familiar with PTSD. Every interaction was humanistic, trustworthy, and kind. The conclusion met our goals quickly.

You will want Scott Goldshaw in your corner

Scott Goldshaw was recommended to me by an attorney who is related to a dear friend of mine. He said, "For what you're going through, there is absolutely no one better than Scott Goldshaw." That was the best advice I've received in a long time. Over the past 2 years, I have trusted, relied on, cried ...to, laughed with, strategized with, and learned so much from Scott. Having never been in a situation where I needed a lawyer before, Scott was extremely patient and easy to understand. He explained everything I needed to know when I needed to know it in terms that I could digest. He treated me like a teammate and we worked extremely well together. Scott has a way of gently guiding you through the litigation process and making you feel empowered. Scott, is an incredibly compassionate and empathetic person. He truly gets to know you and develops an authentic understanding of who you are and how you tick. This makes him extremely effective when he is representing you. Scott is fearless, calm, tough, and incredibly eloquent when dealing with opponents. He will be your advocate and your legal sherpa. From the moment I met Scott, I felt safe. I will be forever grateful that he was my lawyer during an extremely stressful point in my life.

A Most Excellent Attorney, Recommended without Reservation

Having Scott Goldshaw as my legal representative has been a truly remarkable experience, from the first exploratory beginning of the association to its very successful conclusion. It is difficult to give you an accurate review without resorting to every superlative in the book, - but here goes: Sc...ott the person: I was a member of a small group of plaintiffs who sought Scott as our legal council. From the outset he was clearly a very experienced, astute, and perceptive attorney, yet also possessed of much humanity. His empathy with his clients is very noticeable; he is with you, on your side, not just in the head but in the heart too. His effectiveness in working with his clients, in finding and bringing focus to relevant considerations, speaks to all these characteristics. Don’t be concerned if your legal adversary is strong and impressive, Scott is clearly very comfortable and capable when facing heavyweight opposition; he almost seems to relish the challenge. His success unquestionably justifies this confidence, David and Goliath comes to mind, - as does the outcome of that particular dispute! Scott in action: At the start of our lawsuit Scott outlined in clear and understandable terms the complexities of the path ahead, the phases of litigation, what choices to expect along the way, and the probability of various outcomes. As we moved ahead in litigation he prepared us at every step of the way, - including what to expect from the opposing legal team. He predicted the possible legal and psychological tactics they might employ, the traps and pitfalls to avoid, so that our cases could be made unmistakably and without introducing contradictions. Drawing on his extensive experience Scott was able not only to accurately predict the responses of legal bureaucracies, but was very familiar with personalities at the individual level. At every stage, as options became available, as decisions needed to be made, he was there to explain the nuances, the alternatives, and likely results of each, - and to do so with great patience and understanding. So, in summary: Scott Goldshaw is a most excellent lawyer, a formidable advocate and negotiator to have on your side. And yet with that said he is also a great and empathic human being. He has my sincere and unreserved recommendation!

Best lawyer in Philadelphia

Scott was recommended to me by a friend. From the minute I stepped into Scott's office, he was nothing but professional, extremely knowledgeable, sympathetic to my cause, and very mindful of the cost to me of using his time. He has been an amazing legal mind; always a master negotiator and one step... ahead of his adversary - truly! His ability to always be thinking ahead and planning his next move has been breathtaking. I was very impressed. He was honest about my realistic chances of outcome - what the alternatives were, and did not sugar coat bad news but delivered it in a soft way. Scott has always been completely objective, but always working every angle for his client. He always kept in touch with me, never ever wasted any time (cost to me) even to the extent he would be short with an adversary to keep conversations shorter. I cannot say enough good things about Mr. Scott Goldshaw. He is simply the best in the business at his specialty! Please give him a call!
