Michael Kevin Parlow

Michael Parlow is the most accommodating and thorough lawyer. He is understanding and is not a typical money hungry lawyer. His prices are fair for the work he does. I was facing a very uphill battle with the city after unfortunately defaulting on a tax payment plan. Having done so, they reverted the amount I owed back to it's original number without taking into consideration the amount I had already paid. Due to lack of funds, I was unable to make the full payme...nt. Penalties and interest started adding up, and I was charged in criminal court. My first court appearance I went on my own, and tried to work out a new payment plan which I could afford, in order to be able to pay the city back. The ADA said the amount that I could afford and the time in which I was able to pay it back was not sufficient and I would keep having to come back to court every month to try to and renegotiate this matter or I would face jail time. That is when I called Michael Parlow. He took the time to sit down with me and go through all of my documents in reference to this matter, which was quite a substantial amount. He explained everything in detail about how it was going to go when we went to court. In court, he tried to negotiate a deal with the ADA but they were unaccepting as to what I was able to afford. That being said, we decided to go to trial. We had 4 different court dates over a two year period in which for one reason or another, the defense was not ready and requested continuations. The ADA at the last court date was new, and also requested more time to review the case. Because of the lack of preparation on the side of the prosecution and the amount of time it was taking for them to get all of their documents in order, Parlow was able to get my case dismissed and all the charges dropped. He is compassionate in the courtroom, while being an advocate and fighting for your justice at the same time. He is a true professional, and I have seen first hand how well liked and even more important, how respected he is by his peers in the law community.

If you need a lawyer, this is the man to go with! I wish I could give him more stars. I was extremely nervous on my court date. Was being charged with simple assault and harassment. Everything was dismissed! This man is not afraid to speak up. He will do everything in his power to make things right. ...I was so impressed with his work. Please don't hesitate on hiring him. Just do it. You won't regret it.
