Not all superheroes wear capes, this one wears a suit and tie. It was truly a blessing to have Attorney Michael Parlow represent me in the charges against me. As someone with a prior record and comparatively poor experiences with lawyers in the past, to say he is the best seems like an understatement.... I was worried with 8 charges against me that I would surely be seeing a jail cell; however, Att. Parlow assured me that he would do everything in his power to prevent this from happening. Sure enough, he was able to negotiate a plea deal that not only kept me out of jail, but also allows me to have all charges expunged from my record. This was a better outcome than I could have imagined. Much of my worries were dissipated thanks to the maintained contact throughout every part of the court proceedings. Where other attorneys wait until their day in court to speak with their clients, Att. Parlow’s office was in constant contact with any and all updates and regularly scheduled meetings with him in person to go over details of the case before every court date. This relieved much of my original stress going into this case and assured me that I was in good hands through the whole experience. During a major Holiday Weekend I made a mistake, I was DUI, I was selfish, but I'm no...t bad person. The Best Advice I received was to speak with multiple lawyers, "you will know when you feel comfortable"...The 1st 2 where professional, experienced, but they scared me...they wanted me to commit to them on the spot, start journaling all my sobriety, go to AA...and maybe I can get it reduced...for many people that is necessary, but not for all. I F-d up, I made a stupid choice, why was a being made to feel like i needed to apologize to a lawyer? My 3rd meeting was with Mr. Parlow...his genuine review of the case, CLEAR explanations to all of my options and just that been there, done that way of speaking instantly provided a relief (a little at least) and I knew I had the help that understood what was at stake, but confidently let me know we are going to get through this...
