Vicious, Malicious & Abuse of power accusation from a hospital employer

I worked for one of the largest hospitals in Pennsylvania for 17 years where I got falsely accused after getting hurt at work for being under the influence. I found out that the annonymous complaint to the Board of Nursing came from my employer. Anything to discredit you so they dont have to pay you... workmans compensation. While searching the internet for an attorney I came across Richards blog. Richard was amazing, he took the time to explain everything to me. I have nerve impingement on my spine which has left me with chronic sciatica and back spasms. My restrictions have left me with no opportunity to work I still felt after 25 years in the Nursing field I wanted my name and reputation cleared! Richards hard work and dedication help me accomplish this!

High recommendation

I had an issue of license reinstatement, Mr. Hark returned my initial call promptly, he quoted me a price of what the cost would be to take the case, and the case was resolved exactly as he anticipated. We had a positive outcome to which I am delighted. He always called me back quickly, he was effici...ent and direct with his communication with me and fully understood the issues. He is extremely well versed in the law in reference to healthcare providers and presenting there arguments to there respected state boards. He is energetic, and presents his ideas and case in an orderly fashion so that the board will fully appreciated the circumstances of the case. I would hire him again without question.

RN

I am a Registered Nurse in SWPA whose license was just recently in jeopardy. I searched and quickly came across Richard Hark's blog explaining my options. Without hesitation I called and soon after, hired Mr. Hark. I'm across the state from him, but he made the entire process extremely easy for me. ... Always easy to reach via text, email, or telephone and will get back to you within a reasonable amount of time. Most importantly, he calmed my nerves about the entire process and made me feel at ease by explaining each and every step of this harrowing process. He is down to earth, straightforward, and easy to talk to- all qualities that are extremely important when a situation such as this is looming. My case had a favorable outcome and was closed. I 100% recommend this attorney. He and his staff give exemplary service that is worth every penny.

Nursing Board defense

Mr. Hark helped me in defending myself against the PA nursing board. Mr. Hark was very competent in the case. I searched long and hard in the Internet and through word of mouth for help with this case. Mr. Hark was definitely the best option I found. I won my case with his help. He gave me confidence... when I needed it. He answered all emails, texts and phone calls quickly. I recommend him to any nurse having trouble with the board.

Administrative Law

I am writing this reference for anyone looking for fighter, trial attorney, and receptive and responsive attorney. Richard Q. Hark accomplished on my case what everyone said he could not. Against the City of Philadelphia, the Civil Service Commission, and the Judges of the Philadelphia Common Pleas... Court, his long term trial and appellate experience told him his legal theory of the case was correct even though they all said no. He persisted, maintained my spirits and fought harder for me than any person ever did. He never gave up, wrote the best legal briefs, and consistently argued on my behalf. We won! On appeal to the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania we won. The City of Philadelphia lost. The City kept fighting against me and Richard kept fighting. We won again. I received all lost wages to which I was entitled, received back payment of pension contributions, and I got my position of seniority back. I never though I would win. Richard always believed in me, my case, and his legal theory. He returned my calls, emailed me all court documents, and kept me up to date on everything. I am so lucky I found him. Thank You,

Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community

"I have known Richard Hark for years and he is an outstanding attorney. While he handled criminal defense matters for many years, he has shifted his practice focus to administrative law where he assists professionals (nurses, doctors, lawyers, etc) when they are being disciplined by their respective licensing board. This is usually as a result of contacts with the criminal justice system or drug/alcohol problems. Despite the shift in practice, the outcomes are the same. I have seen him successfully fight the most serious criminal charges and I now refer professional clients to him when their criminal case overlaps with their professional license. He has become extremely skilled in a very sensitive area where clients' livelihoods are on the line. This is no easy task but Richard's combination of legal smarts, common sense, and empathy for his client's plight make him a perfect fit. I strongly endorse Mr. Hark."
