Unfortunately, I got a non-work related DUI 2 years ago.Of course I got the letter demanding that I go for an evaluation and I did. The medical director at this facility told me that perhaps “I would get it this time” Yeah, two months and they had a bed available right away. This was not gonna be g...ood! My DUI attorney had recommended some guy in Philadelphia that goes to bat for us healthcare workers. that guy was Mr. Richard Hark! I phoned Richard and after a long conversation where I explained everything that had gone on, it was decided that he would represent me in this case. after some sniffling and crying, I followed Richard‘s advice through this process, including weekly ETG tests for over 18 months. I spoke with Richard fairly often but did not hear any news from the state. Until recently when Richard contacted me and said that the state’s case has been closed. I shall keep doing the next right thing! I have an enormous amount of gratitude for Richard Hark, and without any hesitation would most definitely recommend his expertise services to anyone.

I hired Richard on 2 separate occasions. I was in a lot of trouble with the PA Board of Nursing and there is NO WAY that I would have been able to deal with my situation without Richard's help. I was crippled with fear and ready to voluntarily surrender my license. Richard calmed me down, redirect...ed me, gave me hope, and then he got to work. My case took years to resolve and Richard was with me every step of the way. I had an investigator from the Board of Nursing relentlessly trying to interview me (VERY intimidating). Richard shut that down immediately. My case required a hearing to be held in Harrisburg that Richard was with me for. He did a GREAT job at the hearing, took charge of the 3+ hours it took, and I felt like he was a REAL fighter for me. I served out a suspension (that was justified) and continued with the process with drug testing, going to meetings, counseling, and eventually an assessment with a PHMP assessor. Rich prepared me for the assessment, and it went great. Together, we were methodical with the approach to my case, and compiled a bunch of evidence in my favor to present to the board in my petition to reinstate my RN license. At the end, my license was reinstated to unrestricted, non-probationary status. I CAN'T BELIEVE that he pulled that off for me. That NEVER, EVER would have happened if I did not have Richard's guidance. 5 stars is not enough to give him with my case. If anyone from the PHMP, PNAP, board investigators, ANYONE requesting anything from the board of nursing tries to contact you, DON'T RESPOND. CALL RICHARD!

For the 1st time in my life , i was in trouble with the law .being a medical professional loosing our license we worked hard for years is same as loosing our life itself . I still remember after listening to me for the first time mr Richard told me , don’t worry ,its ok , we will take care of it and ...you will be fine , and he just DID IT !!! . Just after 3 months the Bureau of Professional and Occupational Affairs closed my case . I was a recent nursing grad with 2 DUIs and a possession of marijuana charge hanging over my head from 7 years ago. I understood when the time came for me to register for NCLEX, the PA Board of Nursing would force me to be evaluated for the PNAP program. Every other attorney that I spoke with told me... that if I wanted to avoid PNAP, I had no choice but to proceed with their evaluation process, then hope to appeal the board’s decision. It could be 6 months before I could even get a court date, and eventually hope to sit for NCLEX. I don’t have to relive the mistakes of my past, limit my scope of practice, go back on probation, narrow my job prospects, or be judged by my new coworkers. This is all thanks to Richard and I would recommend his services to anyone unsure of how their NCLEX application may play out.

Over a year ago, our family was dealt with a lawsuit where my dad was asked not just to leave his own company, but pay huge lump sum in compensation to the remaining partners or face jail time.
