Ryan had a legal issue and we waited to make sure he received documents from the Nursing Board. We were ready, he was prepared, and fully engaged in the plan. Ryan executed perfectly and he Pennsylvania Nursing Board preliminary investigation was closed without a full disciplinary hearing or even case. Great job Ryan. Thank you for letting me help you navigate this very challenging time in your professional career. Ryan is located in north western Pa. It did not matter. I am in Ardmore and we zoomed, talked on the phone, and emailed all document preparation back and forth. I can help you with your Pennsylvania and New Jersey Nursing, Medical, Osteo, Pharmacy Board issues wherever you live. Call me.

Veterinary Licensing and Specialty Certification

Richard was referred to me by another licensing attorney who highly recommended him, and I have to agree. He is knowledgeable, experienced and effective. He was able to get us results against a large veterinary medical licensing group which many felt was futile. I can’t thank Richard enough for his... hard work and support. Richard will get you results!

Drs. Wiggin and Tyson and two other specialty veterinarians were improperly denied their expert certifications through a faulty board exam process. Without going to deep into this contested appeal process, we were able to show the Board the statistically improper testing process, secured a re-scoring, and all four vets are now Board Certified Avian Specialists! Dr. Wiggin and Dr. Tyson, thanks for letting me help.!

Very helpful

Richard helped me handle my NCLEX application. When I was younger, I had gotten into some trouble and needed to report the situation to the board of nursing before being granted permission to sit for the NCLEX. Richard helped me navigate the situation and my case was successful. I highly recommend hi...m!

I help aspiring doctors, pharmacists, nurses, CRNP's, physician assistants, and/or psychologists, get their licensing and avoid the NJ -- RAMP and PA -- PHMP impairment monitoring programs. The Pennsylvania and New Jersey health care boards review back at least ten years for prior criminal and alcohol use issues . It does not matter how old is that old DUI. If you want a license from NJ or Pennsylvania nurse, osteopathic, medical, or counseling the Boards are seeking impairment evaluations. Call me to help secure and protect your license.

Truly deserving of all 5 stars!

Richard Hark and his team were the turning point with getting me and my family justice. After nearly a decade of commitment to quality practice, an alleged documentation discrepancy quickly jeopardized not only my job but also my license. I spent months trying to make things right while everything wa...s seemingly working against me. PNAP/VRP programs were my advised means to resolve the turmoil. However, these programs seemed equally confused regarding my situation, but eager to accept me for guilty and dismiss my innocence. They outlined potential sanctions that would cause excessive strain and limit my role as a healthcare professional. I strongly encourage you to read Mr. Hark's blog about these programs. Luckily, I did and I was able to contact Mr. Hark before their state appointed evaluation took place. To my surprised, he answered the phone directly. I can recall not knowing how to address him, "Hark and Hark", "Mr. Hark", "Richard"..., so we settled on "Lawyer Please Help Me." And, that is exactly what he and his team did from that point forward. Not only did we get justice, my license reflects as it should and my job status has remained unchanged! Richard and Jessica were true professionals, while other law firms I have encountered only dug holes deeper and were not nearly as accessible or knowledgeable.

I know this client very well. We had a very hard case on two fronts. The criminal prosecution resolved to our benefit and that directly resulted in the medical board licensing case having many less complications. However, the client had significant medical issues that transformed the impairment investigation into a complex mental health and medical condition case. Everything worked out in the end with no disciplinary action, no jail, and no impairment PHP contract. Call to discuss your complicated case. I handle the hardest one.

"I have known Richard Hark for years and he is an outstanding attorney. While he handled criminal defense matters for many years, he has shifted his practice focus to administrative law where he assists professionals (nurses, doctors, lawyers, etc) when they are being disciplined by their respective licensing board. This is usually as a result of contacts with the criminal justice system or drug/alcohol problems. Despite the shift in practice, the outcomes are the same. I have seen him successfully fight the most serious criminal charges and I now refer professional clients to him when their criminal case overlaps with their professional license. He has become extremely skilled in a very sensitive area where clients' livelihoods are on the line. This is no easy task but Richard's combination of legal smarts, common sense, and empathy for his client's plight make him a perfect fit. I strongly endorse Mr. Hark."

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
