Outstanding!!!

Contacting Richard was instrumental for my case. In a time of panic and uncertainty Richard was quick to help and knew exactly what to expect and when to expect it. He listens to every concern and knows how to deal with it. Don’t panic!!! Call Richard!!! He knows what to do. Best decision I ever made... was to call Richard Hark.

Every client that has hired me slowly provides me with the facts of their specific case. The facts individually and then together always spell out complex legal issues that I hope can be managed and addressed. This anonymous review is a from a client experiencing complex personal and professional issues. Only through trust, confidence building, and patience did each of us manage and successfully resolve this case. Every one of my client's stories are very similar -- whether the client works or lives in Harrisburg, Scranton, Erie, Pittsburgh, or in or around Philadelphia. The only complexity that makes a specific case harder is a PHMP consent agreement and violations of that consent agreement. Once a health care professional admits they suffer from an addiction and can not practice safely unless enrolled in the PHMP -- VRP, PNAP, SARPH, PHP -- a violation of that agreement presents huge challenges for the client. Call me before making such an admission.

Deserves a 6th star!

First thing I have say is he is extraordinary! He knows exactly what he is doing and gives you the outcome you expect, but better. Some advice to anyone that is going through a battle for their license is DO NOT sign any forms for PNAP/PHMP. They are SCAMMERS and will take you for every dollar you ha...ve and make you feel helpless and have no other choice but to follow their ridiculous monitoring guidelines. I reached out to Richard because I felt helpless and didn’t know what to do. He guided and fought for me and now I can happily say that I am a Licensed Practical Nurse with no limitations on what I can do with my career. HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend that he will be your go to for fighting for your license.

Channelle's case was simple and not unique. As a nursing student with a pre-NURSING school criminal legal matter, upon her APPLICATION to take her NCLEX, the Pa Nursing Board sent her a conditional denial of her nursing application. The condition was she contact PNAP PHMP for a pre-llicensure evaluation. Here is where things are different -- but the same. Channelle paid for the evaluation, signed all of the PNAP forms, and did what she was told... she was honest, forthright, and candid with the evaluator. WHO FOUND THAT CHANNELLE WAS SAFE TO PRACTICE WITHOUT RESTRICTION. (The evaluator verbally told Chanelle.) PNAP did not tell Chanelle this, ignored the report, and said she needed to enroll in PNAP to get her license. Chanelle did some research, found me, and I got the written report from the PNAP evaluator. PNAP lied to Channelle, was dishonest in trying to force her into the program as a condition of licensure, and I went straight to the Board. Upon review of the report, Channelle was given authority to sit for her NCLEX without restriction. DO NOT TRUST PNAP, CANDICE QUEER, DINA HUTH, KEVIN KNIPE. CALL ME FIRST.

Fantastic, hard working lawyer

I hired Mr. Hark for a difficult case for a first time DUI arrest, I am a registered nurse and also just graduated for my master's degree for nurse practitioner. I faced the daunting risk of losing my nursing license and failing to obtain my NP license. I called Mr. Hark at last minute when I was scr...ambling for answers and guidance. He took the time to call me back immediately and explain the entire process. Mr. Hark worked diligently to ensure I not only kept my RN license, but I also just received news that I will be approved for my NP license. Mr. Hark responded quickly each time I contacted him, and he listened to all of my concerns and helped me stay calm during the scariest time in my life. This was not an easy obstacle to overcome, but I certainly would not have had the positive outcome if it wasn't for Richard Hark. I am so thankful I chose him. Thank you!!!

This awesome review by a confidential client is what I strive for with every phone call. Whether you are from Erie and deal with LECOM, or Philly and deal with Temple, CHOP, Penn, Einstein, or Allentown and St Lukes, or Pittsburg and UPMC, I do not care. I answer calls all day long helping my clients all over Pennsylvania. I drive to Lancaster, Harrisburgh, Danville, Pottsville, Montour, Luzerne, Wilkes Barre because my clients need me. You do too. Call me. DO NOT CALL THE PHMP, PNAP, SARPH, PHP BACK UNTIL YOU CALL ME. DO NOT SIGN OR FILL OUT ANY FORMS. This nurse called me first and now she still has her RN and just got her CRNP.

Chris

I was a recent nursing grad with 2 DUIs and a possession of marijuana charge hanging over my head from 7 years ago. I understood when the time came for me to register for NCLEX, the PA Board of Nursing would force me to be evaluated for the PNAP program. Every other attorney that I spoke with told me... that if I wanted to avoid PNAP, I had no choice but to proceed with their evaluation process, then hope to appeal the board’s decision. It could be 6 months before I could even get a court date, and eventually hope to sit for NCLEX. Richard had a preemptive plan in place allowing me to bypass the board’s evaluation altogether and sit for NCLEX immediately. He even had a contact on the board itself who was able to expedite the process the same day all my documentation was submitted. Richard was meticulous in our preparation and down to earth. I knew I could speak openly to him, and our interests were aligned. I will be eternally grateful to him for the situation I am currently in. A Registered Nurse able to begin my new career without limitation. I didn’t have to go through a long costly legal battle to get there. I don’t have to relive the mistakes of my past, limit my scope of practice, go back on probation, narrow my job prospects, or be judged by my new coworkers. This is all thanks to Richard and I would recommend his services to anyone unsure of how their NCLEX application may play out.

I help medical, pharmacy, dental, and nursing students with adolescent legal mistakes apply for and secure their hard earned licenses. Pennsylvania licensing boards typical refer applications with "legal issues" to PNAP, the PHP, PHMP, or SARPH, for review and evaluation to "supplement" the record. DO NOT DO THIS. Whether you live in Erie (medical school is LECOM), Philadelphia, Lackawanna, Harrisburg, Lancaster, Altoona, or beyond if you get a conditional denial of your license application with a PHMP evaluation referral call me to discuss. Chris did and read her review.

"I have known Richard Hark for years and he is an outstanding attorney. While he handled criminal defense matters for many years, he has shifted his practice focus to administrative law where he assists professionals (nurses, doctors, lawyers, etc) when they are being disciplined by their respective licensing board. This is usually as a result of contacts with the criminal justice system or drug/alcohol problems. Despite the shift in practice, the outcomes are the same. I have seen him successfully fight the most serious criminal charges and I now refer professional clients to him when their criminal case overlaps with their professional license. He has become extremely skilled in a very sensitive area where clients' livelihoods are on the line. This is no easy task but Richard's combination of legal smarts, common sense, and empathy for his client's plight make him a perfect fit. I strongly endorse Mr. Hark."
