I have used Richard Hark on two occasions. I had two cases with the nursing board that he handled in a very swift manner and won both cases. When you think there is no way around the nursing board, believe me, he knows the way. As a professional practicing nurse it seems that personal issues are unacceptable. In 2015 I received a DUI and was accepted into the PA ARD program. I graduated nursing school in Dec of 2017, but because the ARD was not expunged I had to disclose it to the PA SBON. The SBON decided that "I may suffer from impairment" because I had to disclose my prior DUI. The SBON then wanted me ...to release all my personal information to a PNAP assessor and come in for an evaluation. I was doing some research one the PNAP program and did not find many positive posts. As I continued to search about the program I came across Richard Harks Blog. I am an lpn in Pennsylvania and I’m great at what I do. Due to a moments lapse in judgement I received a DUI and thought that my career was over. Although my DUI was completely separate from the work I do as nurse the program the nursing board wanted me to go through was extensive, humiliating and ...costly. I don’t know that I would be a nurse today if I hadn’t.
