Extremely Helpful

This was the second time I needed Mr. Hark's assistance. He is professional, available anytime to talk, invested in his clients, and provides professional legal support. He briefed me on exactly what to expect when dealing with the Board of Nursing and got my case closed twice. Highly recommend his s...ervices for any issue with your professional license.

Happy to successfully help this client--again. Everyone is a target from the PA Boards of Nursing, Pharmacy, and Medicine. The post pandemic enforcement environment is almost unbearable. Call me to help.

Go with the Best and forget the rest. Best Attorney

Can’t say thank you enough to Richard and Jessica for how much they did for me. I am truly grateful. I am a RN who was in a bad way mentally due to medication issues which in turn lead to 2 DUIs and 2 refusals. I found Richard on line to help with my nursing license. I was so nervous to call but so ...glad I did. He is very knowledgeable in every way and shows in everything he does. PNAP is very intimidating and Richard knows exactly how to handle them. As far as the 2 DUIs , I had a lawyer whom didn’t do much, just a waste of money so I turned everything over to Richard and so glad I did. He is well worth the money. Being from the coal region it is said that Schuylkill county is the worst county to get caught doing anything. My advice is to get out of the surrounding area if you need a lawyer. So happy I found Richard Hark. He got 1 DUI dismissed and the second DUI changed to a general impairment, He also won the Penn Dot refusal appeal and beat the nursing board impairment investigation. He beat the schuylkill county state police. He is my Mr. October. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and my family also thank you. He is truly a blessing. I can’t imagine my life now if he wasn’t my attorney. A Grateful Coalcracker Girl

Wow, Mr. October.....that is a compliment. Donna's various matters are similar to everyone else's. A single DUI creates many problems. Two in three weeks because of medication creates huge issues. Each one then needs to be handled, unraveled, and managed. It took time with Donna. Each DUI, each refusal, a Commonwealth Court appeal, and Nursing Board case. She worked the entire time. She drove most of the time. She lives in Schuylkill County. I drove up there 5 times. I drive to Scranton, Lebanon, Montour, Lehigh, Bethlehem, Lancaster, Adams and all places in between these towns and Philadelphia. Today I am in West Chester and Media. Call me with your questions.

Words just aren’t enough to thank Richard and Jessica for how much they changed my life. After a car accident on personal time in January of 2022, I was charged with a DUI. Even being in nursing for almost 20 years, I had no clue about how much this was going to change my career. I can’t say I ev...er knew anyone in similar circumstances. So after I self reported to the nursing board, I was quite shocked when I received the letter from PNAP about participating in their voluntary recovery program. I blindly went into the evaluation and it turned into a mess. I packed up my office and was ready to walk out of the only career I have ever known. I searched and searched online, and everything brought me to the law firm of HARK & HARK. I called and immediately received a call back from Richard. He was able to explain things very clearly and talked me off the ledge, telling me to continue to work. I almost gave up everything. I know I don’t have the type of personality to put up with what the conditions of VRP, for the mandatory 3 years, were. It made no sense that they didn’t take into account that I had no other disciplinary action ever and this was my first DUI. So I spoke with my family and within a day, agreed to have Richard handle my case. It was the BEST decision I ever made. Richard was able to provide so much information and guidance about what to expect of the mental/physical evaluation. He is a tell it like it is, no BS kind of guy and that was everything I needed at the time. We developed a plan, and even when I struggled to follow it completely, he only looked forward. I have a complicated medical history, I know the information that was being thrown at him was probably mind boggling. But the day I went to meet with the board appointed psychiatrist, he had me feeling confident and reminded me that I controlled the conversation. That morning I received a confidence building text from Richard, reminding me that this was doable. Yesterday, I received the most fantastic news from Richard; that I had won my case and would not be prosecuted over the allegations. Upon reading this, I immediately burst into tears, as did some of my coworkers. They have been on this rough, windy road with me all the way. And I have Richard to thank for everything! And Jessica is so kind and understanding. I am so happy I walked into this with this team on my side! If you EVER find your license in jeopardy, CALL RICHARD! He truly is a life saver! In more ways than one. You will be in very competent hands. Thank you Richard and Jessica! It has been quite the journey. And I’m glad it’s over! Thank you, thank you thank you! Hire Richard! He knows what he’s doing!

The last two reviews show how scary these cases are for my clients. Similar to you they have been charged with a crime and they have a health care license. Osteopathic, pharmacy, medical or nursing board licensees are all treated the same. Do not fall for the PHMP, PHP. PNAP, SARPH lies, letters, threats. These programs are not the boards that license you. These entities juts scare everyone. Hire your own lawyer to protect your license. DO NOT TRUST THESE CASE WORKERS, THE POLICE OFFICERS, YOUR JOB MANAGERS OR SUPERVISORS. DO NOT SELF REPORT TO THE PHMP AND GO TO THEIR EVALUATION. IT IS A MESS AND IT WILL MESS UP YOUR LICENSE.

Terry thanks for the great review. You may have thought I was so close -- in Erie -- but I am located in Philadelphia. However, I help all CNA's, nurses, physicians, pharmacists, respiratory therapists, dentists, psychologists, teachers, all over Pennsylvania. I have clients in Clearfield, West Moreland, Scranton, York, Dauphin, Philadelphia, Media, West Chester, Lancaster. Zoom, MS Teams, Facetime allow my clients and I to meet, discuss, and prepare. I am always prepared. I fight every case to make sure the Commonwealth proves their case, brings the witnesses to court, and make sure they have the evidence. Many times they don't. Do not sign PNAP, PHMP document before talking with me. Do not admit to impairments. DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT TALK WITH ANY PNAP, PHMP CASE WORKER. Call me to discuss your case.

Rich saved my life and my sanity to say the least. With the utmost patience, compassion and pertinent experience, he has been continuously supporting me through a total nightmare. At the beginning of my nursing career, I fell for the PNAP tricks in the past, while not even working or facing a legal o...ffense. I received an anonymous complaint without the guidance of Rich. This is the biggest regret of my life. After dealing with injustice of the PNAP program in the past, I felt my life and career were totally over. I couldn’t bare the thought of going back into this program. Additionally, I felt extreme panic and fear when I received a 1st offense DUI with a refusal during a very unique period of time in my life. This time, I didn’t waste my time. I called Rich on a Sunday evening and he immediately answered, took his time to collect my information and we immediately started to prepare. Thus far, I received the minimum sentence of ARD without a drivers license suspension. Mind blowing success to say the least! In light of the overwhelming achievements we already have made together, he properly prepared me and even attended the MPE for my nursing license, for which I am wildly optimistic about winning too. He was very direct, always available, and keeps me calm and level headed. Rich was very clear on the legal issues, the health care license issues I was confronting, and how to proceed in a timely and orderly process. He has been and continues to be available via email, phone calls or texts. Stop searching the internet and hire Rich if you are facing any health care licensing or legal issues. HE CARES AND HE IS SIMPLY THE BEST, BETTER THAN ALL THE REST! Do not hesitate to hire him. Your license is worth it. Your career is worth it. Rich is worth it!! I cannot express my appreciation and gratitude enough! Hire him. I am soooo glad I did! 5 Stars is not enough, he deserves all stars in the galaxy!

"I have known Richard Hark for years and he is an outstanding attorney. While he handled criminal defense matters for many years, he has shifted his practice focus to administrative law where he assists professionals (nurses, doctors, lawyers, etc) when they are being disciplined by their respective licensing board. This is usually as a result of contacts with the criminal justice system or drug/alcohol problems. Despite the shift in practice, the outcomes are the same. I have seen him successfully fight the most serious criminal charges and I now refer professional clients to him when their criminal case overlaps with their professional license. He has become extremely skilled in a very sensitive area where clients' livelihoods are on the line. This is no easy task but Richard's combination of legal smarts, common sense, and empathy for his client's plight make him a perfect fit. I strongly endorse Mr. Hark."
