Simply The BEST

I hired Richard in March 2021, after being walked out of my place of employment due to suspension of my RN License. I was charged with first time DUI in 2019. I received ARD and DUI has been subsequently expunged. The PA Board of Nursing suspended my license for failure to appear at a Mental Healt...h and Physical Exam set up by the board. I never received notification of mandatory exam from the board. After the shock of being walked out of job, suspended without pay, and risk of termination from my state job for practicing without a license, I went down the rabbit hole on internet. My attorney that represented me for DUI required 4000.00 retainer upfront to represent me for RN License suspension. That was a no-go for me since I was now basically broke. I searched attorney reviews for hours and hours. I came across Richard's website and read countless reviews. I figured, if anyone can help me out of my no-win situation, it had to be Richard. I knew Richard would probably require a retainer fee that I could never begin to afford, but I was desperate for help and left an inquiry on his website. Within a couple minutes, I received a call from Richard. I was in shock at how quickly he read my inquiry and reached out to me. Richard told me exactly what he needed to file immediately. He provided me with his fee, allowed me to pay an affordable down payment, and agreed to accept remaining fee on a monthly payment plan beginning AFTER I returned to work and started receiving pay again. Richard instructed me to provide exactly what the PA BON would require in order for him to file a Motion for Reconsideration for license. He was meticulous in details and I forwarded docs as requested. Richard has personal connections to attorneys on the board. He filed a motion with the board within a couple days. The board reinstated my license within 3 weeks, and allowed me to reschedule and attend the Mental Health and Physical Exam I missed after DUI charge. I got back to work immediately! Appointment was scheduled a month later. Richard prepped me for the exam, and forwarded information to review to fully prepare me prior to meeting with the MD for exam. I did exactly as Richard instructed me during exam, and left feeling confident. I was praying for my case to be closed. It took the MD about 3 months to finalize his report. Once sent to the board, the board closed my case! I never imagined I would ever keep my job at a state prison, after having my RN License suspended for failure to report to mandatory fit for duty exam, and have my case closed with the BON. Who does this???? Richard does. If you are reading this review, do yourself a favor. Just contact Richard. He'll guide you the rest of the way effortlessly.

Denice's case reflects the problem of Covid, the 2020 mail sabotage (for voting but it effected the entire country for everything), and the trigger happy Board of Nursing acting to protect the pubic from any and every threat from this planet and others. My professional relationships with the health care board prosecutors -- Nursing, Medical, Pharmacy, and all others -- is based upon sound legal work, sound legal experience, and a basic legal professionalism. I live by my word. I honor every a verbal agreement between a prosecutor, whether it be criminal or licensing board, and myself. If I agree that my client will do something in a case -- they do it! If I am requesting a professional courtesy for a client, I extend the same courtesy to that prosecutor. Rescheduling evaluations, continuing court dates, explaining why evaluations are missed, or agreeing to a 2nd evaluation is part of the professionalism and respect I both give and receive by the Pennsylvania and New Jersey health care prosecutors and specific prosecutor in Denice's case. I have a great saying, "I took me 20 years to know how to fix your problem in 10 days." Again, my criminal trial experience and licensing board experience works to the benefit of every client, from every state confronted with a Pennsylvania or New Jersey health care board prosecution! Call me to discuss your case. Denice did and you can tell she is happy!

BEST DUI/CRIMINAL DEFENSE LAWYER FOR MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS

Richard is simply hands down THE best for any healthcare practitioner looking for a criminal defense / DUI lawyer! He was my lawyer for a first time DUI case that some other lawyers said it would be tough to get into ARD, but got me ARD. It was definitely one of the most scariest times of my life. ... I was originally recommended to a friend's acquaintance who happens to be an attorney in Allentown, and was avoided and neglected and I ended up losing the retainer fee of $4000 I paid in advance. While in distress, I spent 4 days searching online for my best option. After reading great reviews on Google and AVVO, I reached out to Rich in the middle of the night and he responded via text immediately and worked right away to relieve my anxiety. Listen, I've done countless hours of research for you - reach out to Rich if you're in trouble and he will put you at east immediately. I was concerned for losing my medical license but Richard had seen it all - and was prepared to fight whatever battle that came our way. After being denied first, I was able to get into the ARD program and Rich prepared me well in advance for various different obstacles that would eventually come our way to successfully complete the ARD program and probation. Rich is "an attorney the DA's are scared to face" - as another lawyer would say, and is highly recommended even amongst the law community. If you're in trouble and need an excellent lawyer, a problem solver, or just a friend to guide you through, look no further. You have found your guy.

This doctor had a major DUI -car accident with major injuries to both occupants of the car. This is a case that typically never gets ARD. I got him ARD. every case is different and I never promise anyone any result. My tenacity and hard work seeking reconsideration and presenting a compelling story for my client achieved the result this doctor needed. He will not have to report any conviction on every new or renewal licensing application. This WAS mistake that could have affected every one his is jobs, licenses, insurance coverage, and professional progression. It will not now change his life. THANK YOU FOR LETTING ME HELP AND THANK YOU FOR YOUR WONDERFUL REVIEW.

Occupational Therapist

I sustained a DUI several months ago and even though I hadn't been charged with it yet I landed in this PHMP monitoring program. I had to go for random drug screens that could be anytime. I am an occupational therapist and don't deal with medications and they were stating that I was a risk to my p...atients! I was panicking and found Attorney Hark online. He saved my license and got the case dismissed. He is a little pricey but totally worth every sent then the hell they were putting me through! Don't hesitate! Michael OT

Michael's case is not unique. A 2nd offense DUI with a high BAC, he was already cooperating with the PHMP. Similar to many nurses, doctors, CRNP's nurse anesthetists, and pharmacists, the PHMP monitoring program case worker did a bait and switch on Michael. They say just got to the eval, you will be fine. The drug and alcohol evaluator gave him an improper diagnosis and recommended the program. The PHMP case worker, even though Michael was not handling any medications, demanded he stop working, go to in patient treatment, and not return to work until she (Candice Queer) said so. This is not proper. Different health care professionals from all over Pennsylvania (Scranton, Pittsburgh, Erie, Altoona, Mechanicsburg, Harrisburg, Philadelphia) are all treated the same. NO ONE CAN AFFORD TO STOP WORKING. Michael withdrew from the PHMP before a formal signed consent order was entered. We prepared for the Mental and Physical Evaluation. A prosecutor look at his case and after the review with all of the information closed the file. Michael started back working right after he hired me (6 months ago), and never looked back. He has a great new job, moved to a better location, and couldn't be happier with his choices -- one of which was hiring me. Thanks for letting me save your license, career, and happiness.

Protect your hard work

Richard Hark responded to me right away regarding my situation. He is a no -nonsense attorney. He advised me straight up- told me the process and answered all my questions. My personal case took longer than most, but the outcome was EVERYTHING. when you work so hard to accomplish your goals, and over...come past mistakes, it is a punch in the face and knife to the heart to have the board question your suitability to perform as a professional nurse. They see a criminal record and put you at a negative disadvantage. Turns out...I got caught doing what millions of people do all the time..DUI. It is not fair to penalize someone for something completely unrelated to their character and professional function as a healthcare provider. Honestly, Hark helped me regain confidence in myself, and realized that just bc I had a few bad nights in my past, doesn't make me a failure and less deserving of my hard earned license! The investment for your future license is worth it. Money comes and goes, but the dedication and sacrifice you made to earn your medical license is priceless. HIRE THIS ATTORNEY TO HELP YOU ACHIEVE YOUR CAREER!

Daye and her family are great, hard working people. In our mobile lives, living around the country and then choosing to settle down and start a career creates record keeping challenges. DUI histories are typical. Helping Daye present her DUI to the Board evaluator in her application case so that she is not shuttled into the PHMP or PNAP and gets an unrestricted license was my pleasure. Congrats!!!.

Scared RN

I'm a registered nurse in Pennsylvania, I found myself in the unfortunate situation of being charged with a DUI. I've never broken any law prior, not even a ticket. It did make a poor decision one night, I'm not going to say I didn't. Believe it or not, nurses are human too. The fear of that one mist...ake destroying my career was terrifying. Attorney Hark was recommended to me by a friend, and once I hired him I felt so much relief. He is knowledgeable, professional, and has proven outcomes. He prepared me for every potential situation. Attorney Hark and his assistant Jessica are amazing. If you are reading this, you are likely in my same shoes. Do not hesitate to hire Attorney Hark. My case with the board of nursing was closed successfully. I don't know if I would have had that outcome was any other attorney.

Whether you live in Harrisburg, Erie, Scranton, Philadelphia, any where in between or around the country, I am so happy to know exactly how to help medical professionals around the state and country respond to and prepare for Pennsylvania Nurse, Pharmacy and Medical Board investigations, PHMP VRP letters of concern, Petitions for Mental and Physical Examinations, and all other disciplinary filings. Unfortunately, Scared RN's experience with the Board is the same as many -- she was scared. I am happy to help her reduce her anxiety, prepare her for the evaluation, and successfully get the Board investigation to be closed. It was a long slow and taxing process. I respond to every phone call, text, and email. This way stress and anxiety does not grow and become overwhelming. Call me to discuss your case.

"I have known Richard Hark for years and he is an outstanding attorney. While he handled criminal defense matters for many years, he has shifted his practice focus to administrative law where he assists professionals (nurses, doctors, lawyers, etc) when they are being disciplined by their respective licensing board. This is usually as a result of contacts with the criminal justice system or drug/alcohol problems. Despite the shift in practice, the outcomes are the same. I have seen him successfully fight the most serious criminal charges and I now refer professional clients to him when their criminal case overlaps with their professional license. He has become extremely skilled in a very sensitive area where clients' livelihoods are on the line. This is no easy task but Richard's combination of legal smarts, common sense, and empathy for his client's plight make him a perfect fit. I strongly endorse Mr. Hark."
