Chris

I was a recent nursing grad with 2 DUIs and a possession of marijuana charge hanging over my head from 7 years ago. I understood when the time came for me to register for NCLEX, the PA Board of Nursing would force me to be evaluated for the PNAP program. Every other attorney that I spoke with told me... that if I wanted to avoid PNAP, I had no choice but to proceed with their evaluation process, then hope to appeal the board’s decision. It could be 6 months before I could even get a court date, and eventually hope to sit for NCLEX. Richard had a preemptive plan in place allowing me to bypass the board’s evaluation altogether and sit for NCLEX immediately. He even had a contact on the board itself who was able to expedite the process the same day all my documentation was submitted. Richard was meticulous in our preparation and down to earth. I knew I could speak openly to him, and our interests were aligned. I will be eternally grateful to him for the situation I am currently in. A Registered Nurse able to begin my new career without limitation. I didn’t have to go through a long costly legal battle to get there. I don’t have to relive the mistakes of my past, limit my scope of practice, go back on probation, narrow my job prospects, or be judged by my new coworkers. This is all thanks to Richard and I would recommend his services to anyone unsure of how their NCLEX application may play out.

I help medical, pharmacy, dental, and nursing students with adolescent legal mistakes apply for and secure their hard earned licenses. Pennsylvania licensing boards typical refer applications with "legal issues" to PNAP, the PHP, PHMP, or SARPH, for review and evaluation to "supplement" the record. DO NOT DO THIS. Whether you live in Erie (medical school is LECOM), Philadelphia, Lackawanna, Harrisburg, Lancaster, Altoona, or beyond if you get a conditional denial of your license application with a PHMP evaluation referral call me to discuss. Chris did and read her review.

Simply The BEST

I hired Richard in March 2021, after being walked out of my place of employment due to suspension of my RN License. I was charged with first time DUI in 2019. I received ARD and DUI has been subsequently expunged. The PA Board of Nursing suspended my license for failure to appear at a Mental Healt...h and Physical Exam set up by the board. I never received notification of mandatory exam from the board. After the shock of being walked out of job, suspended without pay, and risk of termination from my state job for practicing without a license, I went down the rabbit hole on internet. My attorney that represented me for DUI required 4000.00 retainer upfront to represent me for RN License suspension. That was a no-go for me since I was now basically broke. I searched attorney reviews for hours and hours. I came across Richard's website and read countless reviews. I figured, if anyone can help me out of my no-win situation, it had to be Richard. I knew Richard would probably require a retainer fee that I could never begin to afford, but I was desperate for help and left an inquiry on his website. Within a couple minutes, I received a call from Richard. I was in shock at how quickly he read my inquiry and reached out to me. Richard told me exactly what he needed to file immediately. He provided me with his fee, allowed me to pay an affordable down payment, and agreed to accept remaining fee on a monthly payment plan beginning AFTER I returned to work and started receiving pay again. Richard instructed me to provide exactly what the PA BON would require in order for him to file a Motion for Reconsideration for license. He was meticulous in details and I forwarded docs as requested. Richard has personal connections to attorneys on the board. He filed a motion with the board within a couple days. The board reinstated my license within 3 weeks, and allowed me to reschedule and attend the Mental Health and Physical Exam I missed after DUI charge. I got back to work immediately! Appointment was scheduled a month later. Richard prepped me for the exam, and forwarded information to review to fully prepare me prior to meeting with the MD for exam. I did exactly as Richard instructed me during exam, and left feeling confident. I was praying for my case to be closed. It took the MD about 3 months to finalize his report. Once sent to the board, the board closed my case! I never imagined I would ever keep my job at a state prison, after having my RN License suspended for failure to report to mandatory fit for duty exam, and have my case closed with the BON. Who does this???? Richard does. If you are reading this review, do yourself a favor. Just contact Richard. He'll guide you the rest of the way effortlessly.

Denice's case reflects the problem of Covid, the 2020 mail sabotage (for voting but it effected the entire country for everything), and the trigger happy Board of Nursing acting to protect the pubic from any and every threat from this planet and others. My professional relationships with the health care board prosecutors -- Nursing, Medical, Pharmacy, and all others -- is based upon sound legal work, sound legal experience, and a basic legal professionalism. I live by my word. I honor every a verbal agreement between a prosecutor, whether it be criminal or licensing board, and myself. If I agree that my client will do something in a case -- they do it! If I am requesting a professional courtesy for a client, I extend the same courtesy to that prosecutor. Rescheduling evaluations, continuing court dates, explaining why evaluations are missed, or agreeing to a 2nd evaluation is part of the professionalism and respect I both give and receive by the Pennsylvania and New Jersey health care prosecutors and specific prosecutor in Denice's case. I have a great saying, "I took me 20 years to know how to fix your problem in 10 days." Again, my criminal trial experience and licensing board experience works to the benefit of every client, from every state confronted with a Pennsylvania or New Jersey health care board prosecution! Call me to discuss your case. Denice did and you can tell she is happy!

Physical Therapy License

I contacted Richard after learning that my professional physical therapy license may be in jeopardy, and I am certainly glad I did! Richard is prompt in his responses, clear in his communication of the plan, and was very encouraging for a positive outcome on the case during a very stressful time. H...is experience in these situations was clear, as he knew exactly what to expect at each turn. To further complicate the situation, I was then living out of state, but still trying to protect my PA license should I need to return to the state to practice. Richard took the time to understand the nuances of my situation, was available to answer questions as they arose, & provided sound advice throughout, until we received a positive outcome! I highly recommend Richard for any issues pertaining to your professional license!

I represent many Pennsylvania licensees now living in Florida, California, Arizona, New York, New Jersey, Washington State, New Mexico, and Colorado. These clients have an inactive Pennsylvania license to practice nursing, medicine, physical therapy, pharmacy, or any other health care practice. They either went to school in PA, getting their initial training or post-graduate license here, but are now living and working elsewhere. Criminal or impairment investigations in other states will affect even an inactive Pennsylvania health care license. We live in an opioid, medical or legal marijuana, post- pandemic alcohol drunken environment. Pennsylvania is noticing any licensee with legal issues to respond to their orders, petitions, and discipline. Call me to let me help you sort out the long-term issues that can and will affect your nursing, pharmacy, medical license. Adam did and look what happened to him--NOTHING.

Best of the Best!!

Over a year ago, our family was dealt with a lawsuit where my dad was asked not just to leave his own company, but pay huge lump sum in compensation to the remaining partners or face jail time. We were lost and was on this website reading reviews because our attorney at the time said we have no fight...ing chance and other attorneys weren't even interested in picking up our case. The best decisiom of my life, I should say was reading client reviews and deciding to contact Mr. Richard Hark (Richard), as our last shred of hope. We hired Richard because not only did we needed to have an attorney that could take on a complex medicare fruad case, but also an attorney with above average knowledge of Home Healthcare system and Richard had the full package. We were quickly able to tell he goes above and beyond for his clients. As a middle class family, we were faced with alot of financial struggles, during the pandemic. Mr. Hark understood our struggles and worked with us to fully ensure we weren't over burdened financially. At the same time, he brought forth his A game anytime his name was called. He was always available for us and was very transparent with all the communication. He didn't tell us any BS and made sure we properly understood all our options. I can't thank Richard enough of the how well he handled our case. His dedication to the clients and the confidence in his craft turned the whole lawsuit around. The partners who sued my Dad ended up dropping the case and compensated my Dad appropriately. Richard did everything to make sure my Dad was properly taken care of during the settlement. To sum it up, Richard's efforts have allowed my dad to not only to have a fresh start without taking a financial loss, but also get his respect back. I couldn't be happier and more thankful for Richard's tireless efforts to make this happen. We are truly grateful to have crossed paths with this such remarkable professional. Highly recommended, best of the best!

Jaimon and his family were confronted with a major civil law suit for breaching a partnership agreement. The Plaintiff's attorney who sued them merely did what his client said, not looking truly into the facts of the case. My trial experience, corporate partnership dispute knowledge tied into my extensive health care practice allowed me to better understand the false claims against Jaimon's family. We counter sued -- claiming fraud and breach of the partnership agreement. Depositions of two plaintiff partners -- the ones that started the lawsuit after they kicked him out of the now thriving business -- revealed they were not credible. These two guys apparently were never cross examined and tested for the truth of what really happened. Well, in the end, the two suing partners paid Jaimon's father over six figures and attorney's fees. The defendants won, won, and won at every stage. My experience helped Jaimon's family in the litigation to boil very complex issues down to to clear credibility issues that won the case. The litigation stretched on through covid, was mediated by an excellent mediator, and Jaimon and his family won. Thank you for letting me help your family in this complex health care fraud civil corporate partnership dispute.

Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community

"I have known Richard Hark for years and he is an outstanding attorney. While he handled criminal defense matters for many years, he has shifted his practice focus to administrative law where he assists professionals (nurses, doctors, lawyers, etc) when they are being disciplined by their respective licensing board. This is usually as a result of contacts with the criminal justice system or drug/alcohol problems. Despite the shift in practice, the outcomes are the same. I have seen him successfully fight the most serious criminal charges and I now refer professional clients to him when their criminal case overlaps with their professional license. He has become extremely skilled in a very sensitive area where clients' livelihoods are on the line. This is no easy task but Richard's combination of legal smarts, common sense, and empathy for his client's plight make him a perfect fit. I strongly endorse Mr. Hark."
