Thank you Richard Hark!

I am a phyiscian in Pennsylvania who was facing legal issues which would have seriously threatened my medical license. I contacted Richard Hark. I couldn't have handled these matters without Richard's help. He was always available, timely responding to texts, emails, and phone calls. No question or i...dea was too silly to warrant a nice thought out and appropriate response. Between him and his assistant, I felt confident how things were being handled and relieved with how things were resolved. Importantly, Richard was extremely knowledgable and competant about all medication issues, state police and medical board investigation practices, and the combination of the criminal and licensing issues I was facing. His professional reputation and professionalism was obvious when dealing with various state investigators. I couldn't have found a more confident, competant, and grounded attorney to handle my case.

Highly Rated, and Rightly So.

Although most people in professional nursing are highly educated, we can be very legally naive. Sadly, when I was wrongfully caught up in a professional issue that threatened the integrity of my license and could have marred my reputation forever, I was one of the naive ones. Intimidated by the stro...ng-armed tactics employed by the program endorsed by the PA Board of Nursing to "assist" nurses, I was poised to submit to peer probation and substance-abuse treatment even though I do not have a drug or alcohol problem. It seemed as though once accused, whether substantiated or not, the hapless nurse was compelled to be labeled as an "alcoholic" and "treated," or have his license impugned (or revoked) as a consequence. It was my good fortune that I stumbled on Richard Hark's blog in my search for direction. I had already submitted to one evaluation which found no criteria for diagnosis...but I was being told to submit to another! It was obvious I was going to be tested until I was found diagnostic for something! Since I first received notification of the complaint to the Board of Nursing that began my nightmare, I’d searched the internet for any insight into what action a person in my situation should take. Mr. Hark's blog was the first light I'd found shed on my situation. The next day...I called him. Mr. Hark knew exactly how to respond to my situation. He was confident, knowledgeable, and supportive. Although I'd been naive, Mr. Hark stood up for the rights I didn't even know I had. Every time I got a letter or notice from the State, Mr. Hark called to explain it to me. Any time I called, Mr. Hark called back the same day (even if it was after business hours). On the day of my physical/psychological evaluation, Mr. Hark called to buoy me up and tell me what to expect, even though he himself was on a long drive on other business. I'd have thought my case was rather clear...but it took nearly a year to resolve. Mr. Hark was there every step of the way. When my case was finally officially dropped with no ill-effects to my license and no disciplinary action, I could tell from his email that Mr. Hark felt as victorious as I did. I would not have to undergo unneeded drug/alcohol treatment or 6 long years of restricted practice. My reputation is intact. Do I recommend Richard Hark? You bet I do!

One angry client keeps posting anonymous reviews. LEarn the truth

Unfortunately, again, I have to respond to an anonymous review of a disgruntled former client who a year ago posted the review intelligence does not guarantee results to harm my reputation. I have not lost a DUI in the last six months. The person complaining is the same person who wrote that really... long review that I commented about before. Call me to talk to me about your case. Read the other reviews about my administrative law clients that are actual reviews.

Battled PNAP and PHMP on my behalf. Best outcome I could have asked for.

Mr. Hark helped save the integrity of my profesional license and preserved my future and my career. Without him, I would be facing insurmountable obstacles to my career and education. I would absolutely recommend him if you are having difficulties with your professional license, especially when deali...ng with the deceitful and dishonest people at the PHMP and PNAP. Don't fall for it. Your future is too important. An excellent attorney.

Professional licensure

Richard handled my nursing licensure case. He is very knowledgeable in this field and provided me with the pros and cons for every legal step taken. He kept me informed every step of the way and provided me with his expertise that convinced me I hired the best lawyer possible to handle my case. He ...manueuvered flawlessly through this case and gave me the support I needed through this very stressful process. I would recommend Mr. Hark without hesitation.

"I have known Richard Hark for years and he is an outstanding attorney. While he handled criminal defense matters for many years, he has shifted his practice focus to administrative law where he assists professionals (nurses, doctors, lawyers, etc) when they are being disciplined by their respective licensing board. This is usually as a result of contacts with the criminal justice system or drug/alcohol problems. Despite the shift in practice, the outcomes are the same. I have seen him successfully fight the most serious criminal charges and I now refer professional clients to him when their criminal case overlaps with their professional license. He has become extremely skilled in a very sensitive area where clients' livelihoods are on the line. This is no easy task but Richard's combination of legal smarts, common sense, and empathy for his client's plight make him a perfect fit. I strongly endorse Mr. Hark."
