If you value your license- HIRE RICHARD

I cannot say enough about how helpful and unbelievably aggressive this firm and specifically Richard Hark have been in defending my license. This was one of the scariest things I’ve had to face and it is unbelievably difficult to describe the peace of mind and trust that Richard was able to provide ...as well as explaining the entire process, making himself available to me at anytime, having a suitable and very convenient payment plan as well as general overall knowledge of nursing, board of nursing processes and anything and everything you need to know. Not only was Richard recommended to me but I also recommend him to anyone who is serious about defending their license and receiving top-notch legal Council as well as representation. Not to mention his office staff are spectacular and are just as knowledgeable and can also answer any questions you can think of.

When you're in a bind Richard is the one to find. I was arrested for DUI July 2017. I hired him as I am a nurse, for my nursing license in May of 2018 and in July of 2018 there was no nursing board prosecution against my license or no disciplinary action against me thanks to Richard hark. He is an a...wesome lawyer and will go above and beyond to make sure you get the best outcome! I am ecstatic and NOW stress free, ThankGod... that I don't have to worry about my livelihood! I would recommend him to anyone in need, he's Awesome!!!

Defending myself against the BON

I was accused of diverting drugs from my work place because my name was spit out on a report that tagged me with “red flags.” I explained each of these red flags along with a negative drug and alcohol test that same day. There were no patterns, no witnesses, nothing to go on because I was innoce...nt. Despite this I was fired from my job and reported to the BON. At this point I realized I could not handle this alone. I interviewed many lawyers in my area and as soon as I spoke to Attorney Hark I knew he was the one I needed to be on my side. He helped me to understand PNAP and realize that was not the choice for me bc I was innocent. He came with me to my interview with a BON investigator. He was amazing during the meeting and it felt so good after everything I had been through to take a break from fighting alone and let Richard fight for me. In fact, he didn’t just fight for me, we won!! My case was dropped and no disciplinary actions were put on my license. After working so hard to get my RN Attorney Hark made sure I kept it with no strikes against it and proved to the world that I was innocent just like I had been saying since day one. It is amazing to watch him work, he is unbelievable. He fights hard for his clients and it shows from the moment you meet him.

Thank heaven for Richard...

After working extremely hard to graduate from nursing school I found out that the PA State Board of Nursing was going to make me participate in an extensive, lengthy, and costly program for several years in order to take my boards and practice as an RN. I had read all kinds of discouraging testimonie...s about the program and I also heard first hand from people who had negative experiences with it. I fortunately came across Richard Hark’s website and had my first real inkling of HOPE that maybe there was someone who could help me. After having experienced much resistance from the board and the “system” losing my file for almost a year.. I obtained the services of Richard Hark and he GOT THE JOB DONE!! I am so grateful for his help in getting me to the place where I was finally granted permission to take my boards!! All that hard work wasn’t for nothing after all!! He is amazing and I absolutely recommend attaining his services no matter how hopeless your situation may seem!!

Best outcome possible

I am an lpn in Pennsylvania and I’m great at what I do. Due to a moments lapse in judgement I received a DUI and thought that my career was over. Although my DUI was completely separate from the work I do as nurse the program the nursing board wanted me to go through was extensive, humiliating and ...costly. I had made the decision to do their program because I thought it was the only option I had that would allow me to retain my license. Before I committed to the program I came across reviews online and could not find a SINGLE review that gave credence to the programs success. Instead I found horror stories of people who had to deal with not being able to work for years, while paying out of pocket for the extensive monitoring, lab work and constraints placed on them. In one of those reviews I came across a comment concerning the help that Mr. Hark had provided someone in a similar situation as mine. After speaking with him I made my decision and hired him. Mr Hark was patient, confident and knowledgeable and guided me through every step of the process. The nursing board dropped all inquiries and decided against a formal complaint. During the time that this was in the process, I retained my right to work which helped to reduce the stress of an already stressful situation. My name will not be permanently placed on a website that can be accessed by the world, and I can think about furthering my education within the nursing field. For a period of time I thought that none of that was possible but with Mr. Hark’s assistance it was a reality. I highly recommend before anyone in this situation signs any papers or agrees to any program recommended by the nursing board they speak with Mr. Hark’s office. I don’t know that I would be a nurse today if I hadn’t.

"I have known Richard Hark for years and he is an outstanding attorney. While he handled criminal defense matters for many years, he has shifted his practice focus to administrative law where he assists professionals (nurses, doctors, lawyers, etc) when they are being disciplined by their respective licensing board. This is usually as a result of contacts with the criminal justice system or drug/alcohol problems. Despite the shift in practice, the outcomes are the same. I have seen him successfully fight the most serious criminal charges and I now refer professional clients to him when their criminal case overlaps with their professional license. He has become extremely skilled in a very sensitive area where clients' livelihoods are on the line. This is no easy task but Richard's combination of legal smarts, common sense, and empathy for his client's plight make him a perfect fit. I strongly endorse Mr. Hark."
